Not really. Fisher, Albert, and Tait are the only "recent" ones and Tait was a while ago. DL with Poe, Jackson, Dorsey, and Sims have actually been picked more recently but everyone rants about OL.

But yet they keep trying...why can we not apply this logic to the QB position?!?!

Because Reid could not wait to have Smith on the chiefs in a weak draft.

another Sports site saying we can get that 1st pick

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/k...ed-goff-101315

Another top overall draft pick could land in Kansas City if their slide continues.
If the season ended today, they would pick seventh. But the team which would hold the top choice -- Detroit -- is only one loss worse than the Chiefs.
The Chiefs and Lions will battle in three weeks' time in London. The loser of that game might have the inside track on picking first in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Other teams currently slated to pick ahead of K.C. include the Saints (2), Texans (3), Jaguars (4), Ravens (5), and 49ers (6).
Should the Chiefs top those teams and claim the No. 1 spot, it'd be the second time they've picked there in four drafts.

Get on the Train every one 1st pick

For the first time in years, the Chiefs will not disappoint.

Three times.

So now it can't just be a R1QB but it has to be a specific one? We're ****ed!!

1. Glenn Gronkowski FB 1 Kansas State rJr 6-2 234
2. Cody Whitehair OG 2 Kansas State rSr 6-4 309
3. Roberto Aguayo K 1 Florida State rJr 6-1 205
4. Dan Voltz C 1 Wisconsin rJr 6-3 312
5. Nathan Theus LS 1 Georgia rSr 6-3 238

All good players, though, the real problem is, with three being redshirt juniors who might not declare, it would really lower the overall possibilities of getting a true impact player in the top five in the 2016 NFL Draft.

If those were the chiefs picks you could look for another gunman in the Chiefs parking lot.

Gosh I thought this was the Chiefs/Vikings Official game thread already.

I actually dont see how these are mutually exclusive.

The Chiefs will pick a LT #1 AND pick the wrong QB in the 5th round.
