Can't wait to be at the Buffalo game. Got a feeling it's gonna be very meaningful.
Go Chiefs! 24 hours and then SD time. |
I hope we lose the rest. This OL, QB and Coach have zero business in the playoffs.
|
"I ****ing love winning."
"It's like, better than losing!" |
This was the statement game they should've made week 2. They finished business today. They were on a mission and the defense set the tone like they should. Defense had that edge and was head hunting today.
|
Whoooo
|
I was a big doubter so smack me in the face first then hit me with jizz rep!
|
Rep this shit
|
Great win!
|
Like I've been saying, how much different would you feel about this team if EVERYTHING were the same, EXCEPT they held onto leads they had with 2:00 or less left in the game this year.

Better? Cautiously moving in the right direction. I was the one who called us the Allen Iverson of the NFL at the start of the season. |
If we win next week and get to .500 i'll be more optimistic. The Offense looked like complete shit tonight. We can't count of 5 defensive turnovers every week. Somethings got to change on offense because whats happening now isn't going to cut it.
|
Santos had as many made field goals as Manning had completions. Rep me good.
|
Is this real life
|
Defense played how I expected it would going into the season (actually better). Even if playoffs don't happen, this win was pretty damn sweet.

Me
|
All right, **** it - I'm back in. Again.
Looking at the schedule, the way they've been playing, they can win out. |
This win today was nice, but at the end of the season, we'll look back at this team's inability to finish drives and realize that settling for FGs bit us in the ass.
|
Let's not look paste the Raiders or the Chargers. Both those teams can still beat us, the Raiders especially. I hate dropping games we should win and there are some prime examples coming up.
|
That PI penalty against the Bears might really bite us in the ass if we go 8-8 or 9-7
Next 3 games: @SD, vs Bills, @ Oakland We SHOULD win 2 of 3. If we do, we will be in the drivers seat for a playoff berth. vs San Diego, 80%+ we win @Ravens, prob 45% we win vs Cleveland, prob 85%+ we win vs Oakland, prob 70% we win Im seeing 9 win season. ****ing Bears game. |

Don't start counting future wins and loses.
This team is capable of beating the best and losing to the worst. Just enjoy it week-to-week. |

Folks, the wheels are coming off here in Baltimore. I'm noticing the ticket prices are plummetting on StubHub.
|
Amid all this prognosticating about the rest of the schedule, at the very least this gives the team hope - hope that may have been dwindling after 5 consecutive losses. They have soundly beaten 2 likely playoff teams in Pittsburgh and those butt hurt Donkeys. Getting Grubbs and Bailey back will boost a team that may have got some mojo back.
So stoked to see Eric Berry play one of his best games as a Chief. He was laying the wood today. The way the defense reacted after Peters got flagged for shoving Thomas was refreshing. They are playing off each other's emotion, and playing for one another. The offense wasn't pretty but I was encouraged that Reid didn't get cute and decide to throw the ball all over the yard with a lead that you knew the defense was going to hold. I think Andy may be taking advice from some of his staff, because the run commitment seems to be more steadfast even in the event that our best offensive player is out for the season. The balanced approach is helping everyone out: less turnovers, better field position, better ball control and a fresher defense. I'll be watching the rest of the way, that is for certain. |
Seems like the defensive scheme is coming together nicely. Today was awesome by Sutton. Defense outplayed the number one defense today.
This offensive playcalling though is going to hold us back. Hopefully Grubbs comes back and the oline continues to gel so we can open up a bit. Kelce needs to get the ball more and stop with stupid play calls like 2nd & 2 and 3rd & 2 and both times we throw towards the end of the third quarter. We should be killing clock at that point. We'll see what this team is made of to end the season. We have a golden opportunity to get back into this playoff race and cruise to the finish. This red zone offense is just abysmal. Kelce needs to be the focal point down there. One other note is where the hell is Conley? |

I think that week 2 really hurt this team mentally from top to bottom. .
Even as a fan it drained me. . They do seem to be back on track but only time will tell .. This offense wont take us anywhere in the playoffs and our D is not that talented to win all our games for us .. But at least the season will be a bit interesting. . especially those Raider games. . “I think it was more from the first game,” Houston said of the Chiefs’ blowing a late lead against the Broncos at home. “We know the first game wasn’t supposed to happen like that. To lose the way we did, it hurt. I think it kind of messed with our momentum. I think we’re back on track now. We just gotta stay with it.” Sometimes the dumb question gets a smart answer. Here, Houston is admitting something you don’t often hear. Losing to the Broncos back in September rocked the team in a way that directly contributed to losing five games in a row. “I definitely think so,” he said. “That’s one thing we can’t do. You have to have a bad memory in football.” Just for another perspective on this, let’s go to Jeremy Maclin. He’s a smart guy. A veteran. Thoughtful. So, is that what happened? One loss and it snowballed into more than a month of funk? “You’d like to not think that,” Maclin said. “But is it possible? Yeah. To lose like that, it can definitely affect you.” It’s interesting on its own, the Chiefs’ best player saying one loss turned into five and a talented and respected veteran vaguely confirming it, but this is a happy day so the point isn’t to bring up the sorry past but to marvel at how quickly things can change.[/U] Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt...#storylink=cpy |
