Hey, Simply Red, have you ever tried 'fish and chips' and do you put malt vinegar on it?

Anyone been to an Arthur Treacher's? We used to drive by the one on 7 on the way to grandma/grandpa's back in the day.

I started using malt vinegar at LJS years ago. When my kids started Pop Warner football. There is a LJS that is right on the way to all the towns we had to play to the North of us. We made a point of stopping for a late lunch at fast food places that we don't have closer to home. LJS/Wienerschnitzel/Dairy Queen off the top of my head. There is also a factory outlet row of stores next to the LJS, so we'd stop by when we'd go school clothes shopping. LJS became a horrible greasy addiction/family tradition and my wife started making home cooked versions of their menu. Now, years later, I put malt vinegar on anything deep fried, pan fried or food that you might typically fry but didn't-like oven baked 'french fries.' And I do love hush puppies and corn fritters.

That's a good story. It's fun to remember those sort of trips. I've never got on the Malt Vinegar bandwagon aside from fish. I never cared much for those potato chips that they offer in that flavor. I love hush puppies too! haha
