Theres a ****ton of stuff to do. Missions, heists, racing, minigames, free roam objectives, and more. They release free dlc every once in a while that adds new vehicles and other content to the game.

It’s ****ing GTA deadwood addition. Like the HBO shows deadwood compared to empire or sopranos. Don’t get me wrong. All three good shows, but RDR was awesome. Like deadwood was awesome. Now, since deadwood ended abruptly, I’m excited about this RDR II like I would be about a deadwood II project. And the icing on the cake is the graphics of RDR II, in this teaser. It’s amazing, if the story meets or exceeds expectations, this will be a game everyone plays. Like literally, everyone who plays regularly will have it.

Supposedly next GTA6 game goes back to Vice City era, and has to do w/ coke smuggling w/ the central/southern american drug cartels. Hope those rumors are true that storyline sounds like a lot of fun.

There will be some sweet deals for PS4 Pro and X this fall.

Both run the game in 4k. Plus, the X can play 4k blu rays if that's any extra motivation.

Mentioned this in the Madden thread...but ebay has XB1X Madden bundle deal for $450. Not bad considering it's $500 retail w/ no game.

I hate that preorders get $500,000 in Cash for online. Is this going to be another GTAV where people will be paying for better guns than those just trying to grind things out? Or will it be strictly cosmetic?

Both of the challenges are easy. Just takes a bit of time, especially if you don't have a way to fly.

It eventually became something where you'd have to grind 5 million dollars just to have toys to compete with griefers. There are literally floating cars that can shoot homing missiles now.

My fav. RDR activity was hunting things like cougars and bears....needless to say I'm excited by that news ha.

My hope is that animals act a little more realistically in this one. In RDR, bears, cougars, wolves, coyotes... all of them, the moment they saw you, went full blown terminator. They would immediately pursue you full speed with intent to kill, undeterred by bullets. I've encountered all of these but cougars in the wild and experienced nothing but a photo op. There should be danger, sure, but tone it down a bit. Animals feel fear, too.

Just a pet peeve of mine in the first game that I hope they correct. It was sometimes difficult to appreciate all the landscape around me when I was constantly being ambushed by bloodthirsty animals.

Sounds like it's going to be incredible. Eight years of development. Cyberpunk and maybe Ghosts of Tsushima are going to be the only open-world games that can come close to this. I'm starting to get antsy.

Same with my PS4 Pro and new Sony. Sounds like a real labor of love from Rockstar. I don't want to risk overhyping it but I have the feeling this game is going to set a lot of new standards for open-world gaming.

My only question is, is the story mode playable online with a friend? Is story mode offline or online?

Could you play coop story on GTA V? I can't remember. I would assume you couldn't in this since there's only one protagonist and the western genre lends itself to more of a loner story telling style.

Then again, it's Rockstar and I can imagine them surprising us with an awesome coop mode.

And the last iteration of RDR Online gameplay never did it for me. I couldn't get into it.

This online mode will obviously be more robust so hopefully i can get into it. Loved GTA V's online mode.

This game will have an online component to it similar to GTA Online...story mode isn't playable online or with friends.

Probably more of a sandbox with various missions and activities you can do.
