And you would settle for this. Just another mediocre season down the drain. Going to playoffs isn't a big deal anymore, winning games in the playoffs is......unless you're playing Brian Hoyer.

Shit backs, line, QB, TEs, MLBs, weak D lineman...shall I go on know mo..

The law of averages is about swing hard as **** very soon for KCs 3rd down %. It's well below our normal average and is about to start trending back up sooner or later. Which means it will be higher than our normal average. I think a lot of it has to do with teams game planning to keep Smith from running, which we start exploiting with rubs that have worked well when utilized and then Smith will start running again when they have to stop spying him.

Watch.

I said the same thing about the Turn over ratio.

It's going to happen .

Demonpenz 11-23-2016 11:38 AM

the 2003 team barely beat a RICK MIER lead raiders team on a 33 yard field goal that just got over the goal posts by Anderson. That team was a soft 13-3. The Peter Warrick goes off and he sucks as well

Smith has had plenty of opportunities to convert 3rd downs with his legs, he just hasn't taken them

That's true. But teams have also been game planning against it since the beginning of the season and we have not exploited it, but have been winning regardless. And he's been pooped a few times. This loss and the criticism will add urgency. He'll take off more if he gains more confidence. IMO.

beach tribe 11-23-2016 12:18 PM

There is also the possibility that, Smith cares more about the longevity of his career than he does about winning. W,hich wouldn't surprise me in the least. He is kind of a pussy

But I believe in a big game in front of a national audience he will probably go all out. I guess we will find out.

"Worst 7-3 team ever"

...a few years ago it was the "worst 9-0 team ever" and back in 2003 I'm sure we were the "worst 9-0 team ever" as well.

Point is, the Chiefs are just the worst.

That team would ****ing destroy this pathetic team and you know it.

The ONLY reason this team might have a prayer of winning a playoff game is because the NFL is utter dogshit in 2016. We might get the miracle luck of a road game at some sackofshit team like the Colts.

This team hosting prime Peyton Manning?

ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL

This team would be lucky to stay within 30 of that 03 Colts team.

Sanchez should be the Chiefs starting QB.

SNATCHZ!

tk13 11-23-2016 09:31 PM

Our offense is not good enough right now, but you are not winning anything with a defense like we had in 2003. Ever. And I am a huge Vermeil fan, but this team firing on all cylinders would do much better against the 03 team that people expect. How on earth would they stop a 100% Jamaal Charles? There's no way. That 03 team allowed 5.2 yards a carry on defense. Charles and Ware would run for 250 yards on them. They could maul the clock if Reid didn't muck it up.

I think the 2005 Chiefs were a better team. The offense was slightly worse but still #1 in yards, and we actually had a middle of the pack defense with a legit pass rusher in Jared Allen. They just played a nightmare schedule. The 2003 defense was a passive defense with no pass rushers, they allowed all the underneath stuff and could not stop the run to save their lives. That's exactly the type of defense this current offense should succeed against.
