Here's the interview. If you read between the lines you can tell he's been talking with reid.

HELL NO

It's still very new, this recovery he speaks of. They said he's got a contract in Canada, that'll help if he can get his head straight. If he's truly bi-polar, he's got a life long struggle ahead. Hope the kid can come out of it. I always root for those who decide to deal with their mental health issues.

But I don't want him as a Chief.

So if Patty Ice goes down, Johnny Football can lead us the rest of the way...

Seems Nick Folesish

I don't hate it completely, assuming he can play and we keep him in total isolation, Reid is the kind of coach that can take on troubled players. He would have no contact with our other young players and zero media attention if it were up to me.

On the other hand however, RG3 is more proven and has less baggage, and I don't see anyone thinking he's a good fit.

We don't need any flash in the pan as our backup QB.

Mr. Kotter 02-14-2018 10:53 AM

No thanks....I'm more interested in Chase Daniel, Sam Bradford, etc....

There is not one thing in that interview that would make anyone think he has been talking to Reid.

First things first- I don't want Johnny Manziel anywhere near Pattycakes. I am actually rooting for Manziel, I might be a sucker for a comeback story but god damn was Manziel entertaining in college.

Secondly Manziel announced that he is joining "The Spring League". I don't know much about this league but it will be interesting to see how he performs. I wish Manziel would have signed in the CFL but oh well. I would post a link but Chiefsplanet has lame newcomer rules (when the hell am I gonna be able to post a link?).

Kaep is DONE in the NFL... he has made his priorities abundantly clear, and playing football is way down his list

Frisco offered him a competitive contract, but he chose to cry like a typical SJW about having to earn his keep and quit on them... no one will touch him now, he is radioactive, mother **** that guy and his pig socks

Kaep making you anthem freaks angry would be like 80% of my enjoyment of having him.

Most owners are taking a hard line for 2018... who is really winning this argument?

That first INT might be the most deserving result of a pass I've ever seen. The second INT might be the most undeserving result of a pass I've ever seen.

He ran out of time on a late drive against us 3yrs ago. But it was close. Thanks, Dr. Sutton.

Yeah that game they just dared him to beat us. Played so soft.

Eleazar 08-04-2018 09:02 PM

That second one could have turned out to be a nice play, if not for the stone hands he was throwing it to.

Yep, that was a nice impromptu play that could have resulted in some good yardage. The others were were a combination of bad decision and pressure.

I doubt Manziel will ever see the NFL again. He's luck to be a trust fund child.
