in all seriousness, i have a few questions: is it at all possible fuller can be the number one CB in a KC defense? has he even been given a chance? he has less of a field to cover technically, on one side or the other rather than the slot covering the entire field. obviously you will want to draft or sign another, but who say's he can't be a number 1? two: has andy created such a monstrosity of a play book, that it's too much for the younger guys in their first three years to handle? how much of the playbook can be thrown out to simplify things more? it's crazy i keep hearing 'it takes time to get the offense down' when all these teams end up excelling in certain areas when KC stumbles? :D |
I would like to get a guy like Morris Claiborne or Kyle Fuller, and draft a mid round guy.

I want them to void the trade with Marcus Peters and LA Rams.

If you're remaking the defense, go draft a CB. It's a deep class, and we seem to be acquiring picks.

I don't understand why everyone thinks we will drop off at all with Mahomes. I think we will be better with Mahomes.

I guess it all depends on what we got for Peters. If we did get a 1 this year, go for a pass rusher in the 1st and CB in the 2nd. Both positions need help. If we can get Fuller in FA, still go for a CB in the 2nd. If we got a 2nd, which many believe we did, we have to sign a FA CB, period. While we have a shiny new gunslinger QB who'll put up 100 points a game, I never want to see a repeat of DICK Vermin's idea of football again. Been there, done that.

Eli Apple could be a possibility with Veach liking to gamble

I like Fuller.
Flip a pick for Richard Sherman? Anyone? :) I don't really think the Chiefs are or should be looking to rebuild. They need to push while Mahomes is on a rookie deal. |

Fuller is the obvious choice. I'd only draft a CB in the 2nd round if the value is right.

But it aint hattnin, so theres no point getting all worked up about it... Veach wants a team that mirrors the youth of our franchise golden boy so they can grow together as a team, and I cant blame him one bit |
