I think I'm going to bet on the Chiefs two weeks in a row.
That's how confident I am. |

Not to worried about Denver, Reid has made it a point to dominate this division, just like he use to do the NFC East.
To me this is a showcase game for Mahomes in a night stand a lone game so I think we see some trickery broken out and some serious beat down brought out. |

It's really hard to bet against Andy Reid and Patrick ****ING Mahomes when their opponent is whoever is coaching the Donks and some game manager. ROFL |
It’s Mahomes’ first stand alone national game so I’m pretty sure Reid is going to ensure Mahomes puts up huge numbers, especially TD passes. This was his gamble to make the trade and he will want to fully show it off to everyone. Broncos fans will be forced to post the Ralph Wiggum “stop it” meme by the second quarter and given the defense showing that even the 49ers can score on them in the second half we will be running up the score as much as possible.
|
If you're curious, here's the yards from scrimmage through the first three games for the skill position players. It's pretty well rounded.
Tyreek Hill 319 Travis Kelce 229 Sammy Watkins 227 Kareem Hunt 173 Spencer Ware 73 Anthony Sherman 52 Patrick Mahomes II 46 Chris Conley 45 Damien Williams 18 Demetrius Harris 13 Marcus Kemp 7 Demarcus Robinson 3 De'Anthony Thomas 1 |
Anyone want to drive to Denver?

Chiefs should win this one for certain but I won’t go and call for a blowout just yet...

There is absolutely no way that bum they hired to be their head coach and a retread who jeff fisher didn't want are going to beat our hall of fame head coach and future hall of fame quarterback.
We are going to go in their and crush their souls. GLUE FACTORY BITCHES!!! I may bet $1000 on the Chiefs this week. $600 worked out fine last week. |

Only thing I can hope for is the pass-happy streak ends in Denver on a Monday Night... Mahommes has been playing as if he's immortal, so can they find his kryptonite? Maybe not, but that would be a lot of fun if they were the team and this were the week to defeat the Chiefs. We'll see? https://gifer.com/i/1PEw.gif |
1103 days ago was the last time Dungver beat KC. That was 2015 btw. Andy is gonna put a BIG pair of clown shoes on VaJona! The team will be bringing heat in Dungver next Monday night! Andy owns this fool. They can’t contain the Patomic offense! Thought I heard one of their corners is hurt now too. CLOWN SHOES! May get a chance at seeing their only hope TBag Kelly come in after another bad game by Fleece em.

We're kinda left with the whole 'any given Sunday', 'all good things come to an end', 'at some point Mahomes is going to look silly' ... response mode, if I'm being honest. Will that be this week? Hell, for the way the football gods treat you guys sometimes, it's possible. (#PA) Anyway, I believe it will be an ugly game for Denver... |

I don't get worried about division games to much any more. Reid knows how much they matter and has put this division on lock down.

It's awkward even before he calls him Keesum. This was our #1 guy. Targetted him and got him. Trust me. #1! We didn't even look at |
See my Avy, that's what happened when HGH, I mean forehead, err Manning left the stadium
|
As I said before the 9ers game, this should be a comfortable win as long as we show up. Unless we make tons of mistakes, they simply can't stop us. Period.
|
How many turnovers does Keesum have now?
He seems pretty reckless with the football. |
Here's the way I see who's got the advantage:
Coaching: Chiefs QB: Chiefs RB: Chiefs WR/TE: Chiefs OL: Chiefs K/P: Chiefs Kickoff teams: Chiefs Punt teams: Chiefs S: Even CB: Even OLB: Probably Broncos pending outstanding warrants on Von Miller ILB: Even DL: Chiefs I think the first item on the liist is enough, though, considering the vast gulf between Andy and John Elway's latest minion. |

The Donx play dirty. Always have, always will. It's their culture. Mahomes needs to watch out...It will be worth it to them to risk a late hit penalty in order to get him out of the game. I remember Von hitting Smith late and no flags. Anyone remember what they were able to get away with against Cam? Again, no flags, but there were fines afterwards. I'm betting that they'll hit Mahomes late, and that will be part of their plan. Difference is, Mahomes will get the calls where Smith didn't.

It's either the NFL calling plays in their favor, not calling them at all... playing dirty, the elevation, cheating... holy shit - you've got the bases covered. Ok, so help me out... Broncos 2-1 vs 3-0 Chiefs in Denver, Monday night with the next possible QB Golden Boy (Mahomes) coming off a week setting a new record for TD passes... Is there any reason for the league to protect Denver in week 4? |
I've never really understood all of the Smack Talking.
How do you guys enjoy being wrong, because someone is after every game? As exciting as the Chiefs offense is currently, you have to remember that the Donks (as much as you hate them) have a bunch of super bowls and you don't have shit as a Chiefs fan because you probably weren't alive for the last appearance. Talking shit on the Donks before the game is bad karma... just let the players play the game. |

When is the game?

Division game on Primetime is always going to be hard. This is probably the biggest challenge so far, because there is already familiarity and now expectations.
Having Talib gone helps, for sure, but that defense still has a lot of talent on it. I wouldn't be surprised if we came out conservative and tried to grind out a win. I don't think Reid is particularly concerned with putting on a show. Then again, I expect no less than two plays that we haven't seen before. He knows every DC will be glued to their TV, and he's going to give them stuff to prepare for after this week. I'm going to say Keenum ends with 256, 1TD, 1 Rush TD, and two INT. Mahomes gets 230 yds, 1 TD and 1 INT. Chiefs win a close one at 21-18 (after a 2 pt conversion on the Broncos' second TD.) Broncos kick an onside, Chiefs recover, run out the clock. That, or the Chiefs win 54-27. |

Unless they magically gained the ability to cover TEs, the gameplan involves raping them with Kelce.

https://i.gifer.com/Ljq.gif KC hasn't lost to Denver since 2015 ... Denver is a 5 win team from last year, quickly falling short of renewed expectations in week 3 and facing a KC team en fuego with the NFL's superbly talented new main attraction at QB. (see that's much better that solid) Biggest challenge... phttt. |

Mahomes is going to attack this guy over and over and over again. |
The Broncos I believe are what most of us expected- Keenum was a product and beneficiary of an outstanding system and surrounding cast in Minnesota. He is having some early struggles in Denver and although he is a slight upgrade from the Trevor Siemian/Paxton Lynch days, in order for Denver to compete with us they will need a huge game from their defense. Not only will the Broncos defense have to stop our high octane offense I believe they will need to create several turnovers for this game to be competitive.
Interested to see how Andy Reid/Mahomes attacks this Denver defense. In the Alex Smith days we saw a lot of jet sweeps, option plays and quick screens to avoid having Von Miller the ability to pin his ears and rush the QB consistently. I imagine we will still see our fair share of those type of plays but in addition a new Mahomes flare if you will. Also interested to see how the offensive line holds up, this will be the best set of pass rushers we will see until Jacksonville. The offensive line has been better than expected so far this season and I hope that trend continues. Prediction: KC 35 DEN 24 |
I don’t expect Ford to play even if he’s relatively healthy. They’ve gotta be able to win this game without him. Time for Speaks/KPass to step up.
We’ll need Ford for JAX/NE. |

It's a funny scrum. In fairness, the Raven guy launched in with a cheap shot (against a Bronco so that's fine), and then the Bronco puncher dove in with the same intent. But the Bronco guy started punching right at the feet of an official, which wasn't a bright move. The funniest part is at 30 seconds from the other angle. You see Bolles completely whiff on the fumble recovery, and then he slowly backs away as the pile grows. Meanwhile Chase Keesum is just sitting there next to the pile. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/IdXdMFWewF4" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
