"What happened to Marcus Peters this year"
Duhhhh.... I kept telling people. Wade runs an aggressive man defense. Peters is not a great man corner. He got most of his INT's playing OFF in COVER 3 and reading the triangle. Peters is more Sherman than Revis. He never fit Wade's scheme. IF he was on SF, LAC, or Seattle he'd probably lead the NFL in picks. He's a great playmaker, but a SYSTEM GUY. How many plays do ANY of you remember Peters making when he was in press coverage? Wade is trying to use him as a shadow shutdown man corner and everyone is SHOCKED he's not playing well? How much to these guys get paid to not understand things some asshole fan (me) can clearly see? This might be hard to choke down for some... but Peters was productive because Sutton knew how to utilize him. |
Head case arrogant jerk off. Go ahead and protest Marcus, nobody gives a shit.
|
Remember when Sean Smith left and sucked?
Something about our system makes some DB’s look great when they aren’t. |
He appears to he protesting playing good football.

https://steelersdepot.com/2017/02/ne...verage-choice/ Both guys actually play a lot of man. He followed Thomas around most of the game. |
The funny part about this is it doesn't matter if he's playing off or jamming at the line. He's getting burnt no matter what.
God Mexico City can't come soon enough. The cauldron was boiling tonight but it'll spill over then. |

Here you go. Lots of video of him getting torched man to man. https://www.google.com/amp/s/therams...-analysis/amp/ |

You're wrong. Just decisively and unquestionably wrong. Peters is shadowing in a lot of cover 1 man with wade, just like the big play he gave up at the end of the game. That's not his game. You're wrong. Very wrong. |

You, or my lying eyes? You're still whiffing on the greater overall point, which is that Peters strength is not shadowing in press man coverage. He sucks at it. That's why he was never used that way in KC. |

Rams hold peters on a 5th year option
if he doesn't show out they likely won't resign him so he gets to pick where he wants to play next or is that just wrong? |

gochiefs could gif up every peters play to show who is right.

The ammount of egg on CP poster’s face over this guy is epic.

Hopefully Seattle beats them next week, then the Chiefs beat them, nice to see how big a 3 game losing streak would go over for them.

Just don't release him and have the Belichick pick him up and resurrect him.
|
Peters must be one of the players blowing Grudens phone up.
|
I wish he was still a Chief. Say what you want but our D would be better with him. And no... I’m not just saying that cuz I have a Peters 22 Chiefs jersey. But it’s at least PART of why I’m saying that. Hopefully we torch him in 2 weeks!

Brutal.

All of the guys that were whining about the trade and acting like it was about the anthem are being awfully quiet these days. LMAO
|
Peters never played in the slot here.
I only remember him playing LCB |
Rough season for him. Wonder how it will go for him in free agency when the time comes.

He is lucky Sutton took him as far as he could go. That said, glad he is someone else’s problem now.

Best move the CHIEFS ever made was trading Marcus Peters. When he walking off the field during the Giants game that said it all. He got torched yesterday by the SAINTS. Thanks to the CHIEFS organization for knowing that MP is not that good of a player to put up with his antics. I wouldn't be surprised if the RAMS cut him
|
we were a better Defensive team with MP22
heres his explanation on his shit play lately https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1059486040216477697 |

I don't give a shit, I'll walk my statement back on this case and take the L.
I thought we could have rehabbed him and dealt him for a better return in 2019. Looks like getting rid of him this year was the right move and glad he's now someone else's headache. |
He will be back to elite. Don't worry.
|
Peters may eventually become a fascinating case study of how some guys get in the way of their own potential ... over and over until there's really nothing left to discuss.
Wade isn't using him correctly, that's obvious. (Which might say more about Sutton, actually.) Peters has strengths, but press-man isn't one of them. He doesn't possess the quickness or short speed. It was an issue here and it's more of an issue there. I think it's safe to say that Peters hated it here and I have to wonder how long it will take before he decides he hates LA, as well. At this point, it's hard to make the argument that Veach was wrong. If you light an M80 and don't throw it, you will wind up in the ER with a missing finger or two. FAX |
^ Do you know Jason Pierre Paul?
|
Listening to Mad Dog Sports at lunch and Rams fans are calling in pissed off as hell at Peters LMAO
Not just his play but his demeanor and language in interviews etc.... |
Too bad we couldn’t of packaged EB and JH with MP.
|
I admit to falling in the angry WTF reaction after Peters was traded. Then I defended it by saying it had to do with the Anthem.
Then I moved into "well he WAS a cancer" and then I was walked back by overwhelming "you suck it up and play him another year because we're starting David ****ing Amerson" And now I'm back to Thank God He's Gone mode. The locker room is incredibly functional and positive from everything I'm hearing. |

Shocking. Peters must be heartbroken to discover this. |
I have not watched a game of the Lambs this year, so I reserved judgment until I watched the Saints game yesterday. Peters got ABUSED all game long, numerous catches Michael Thomas had didn't count due to pass interference or holding was called on Peters. Thomas abused Peters all game long, he looked like trash.
|
I bet it's those redneck LA fans! LMAO
