Could be worse.
The cops in Zimbabwe will literally stop you at the checkpoints on the way to the airport, tell you to roll down your window and say "what do you have for me?" People have no idea how good we have it in America. |

My brother lived in Mexico City for a few years. He said its basically like any other big city in that it is made up of neighborhoods. Some neighborhoods are as safe as any other place in the world. Some are really dangerous. Some police look for bribes, others don't. Of course, the difficult thing for a foreigner is that you don't know which neighborhoods are what. I'm sure a few hours of research could give one a fairly good idea where they will be safe and where they are taking greater than normal risks.

They better not have Peters cover Hill, doesn't have the speed.

Mahomes is gonna make Peters look like a fool. He gonna wish he hadn't trash talked him. |
I've been to Mexico City twice (for work) and will be going for a third time next week for the game.
I'm not a big fan of places that have spotty rule-of-law issues, but I never had any problems either of my prior visits. As someone else said, it's like any other city where there are good parts and bad parts. All of that being said, I'll definitely be taking a car service to the game rather than public transportation that the NFL seems to endorse. I think a game like that is a potential magnet for issues and have no interest in testing my luck. |
They are saying this is a matchup of the next Super Bowl.

I was offered tickets to the game, seriously no joke. My buddy called me yesterday...his dad has Rams season tickets. I politely declined.

Posts: 569 Mon Nov 12, 2018 3:42 pm The Rams get boat raced in this one, sorry to say They have probably the 3rd worst Defense in the NFL and KC D will shut down our Offense well enough Hopefully we keep it within 35 Chiefs 42 Rams 14 |

You guys know Chiefs lead the league in sacks?
Win the coin toss, take ball first score TD and make them play catchup. Wont have to worry about Gurly if they are down by 2 score or more. |

Their best bet is our penalties. If we can be less than 4 or 5 and 40 yards we are good. But I still don't think the coaches are on them about it. It is just words each week.
We need zero turn overs, unless the rams change it up they play man and will utilize the cards formula. Constant rush and stop us from using double moves on their CBS. We need to move the pocket more effectively and play action. Let our wr work on Peters then get some penalties out of him. Defense, all out run blitz. Hope our safeties and ilb do their job. |
Are they going to show the barb wire divider in the bleachers on TV again?

they're not a real vocal bunch. I'm getting less and less worried - if there are that few fans online, I can't imagine many in person.

"So far the Rams have been drawing very well this season – every home game has had at least 66,000 people in attendance. Last week they drew over 72,000 against Seattle. I am going to guess this game will draw over 70,000 again." Wow impressive. A city with 4 million people filling a stadium w/70K fans? Meanwhile in KC, a town with 500K population routinely fills up 80K every week. |

It was a very peculiar thing when the Rams came back to LA. Prior to them being here, the NFL fanbase was as diverse as the population itself. Then Target and Grocery Stores etc started carrying Rams merchandise. Now, you see a lot of people wearing Rams gear and stickers what not on cars. I know exactly one Rams fan that is an LA native that remained a fan when the team went to St. Louis and came back etc. So, it is what it is. People didn't really give two shits about the Rams until they came back. Now, I get supporting your local team, that's cool...but I don't think any of them are truly 'die hards' that will follow the team through the ups and downs. We will see I guess... |

Whoever made that Rocky Dennis comment triggered the shit out of their board. That’s actually pretty tame around here. I didn’t see anything about someone “dying in an AIDS fire” on there anywhere.

It's hilarious to read about bandwagon fans from fans of a franchise that just moved to their city 3 years ago ROFL

They're talking about us, we're talking about them, yet we haven't had an actual meeting. It feels like we're the pilgrims unloading supplies from the ship, and they're the Indians who are about to see their civilization get razed to the ground.

I always liked peters, but hes going to get ejected by the 3rd quarter.
And lol at anyone calling chiefsplanet goons bandwagon fans. |
Those rams are lucky roger goodell needed a nfl team in L.A. cause if he didn't these same assholes would be chargers or raiders fans. Their the alpha bandwagon fans they're only there when they win. They need to suck it slowly.
|
all rams fans are paper fans. imagine if the rams had stayed in missouri. the potential for an all missouri super bowl would play better storyline wise.
but the almighty dollar supersedes all other factors :thumb: |

Have the cumstains, excuse me, I mean lowercase rams beaten a team above .500? We sure as **** won't be playing them in the SB... "Don't they know about one and..blah blah blah." Those twats will get owned by the Saints and then they'll go back to sucking AIDS laced cock for coke or whatever it is that LA people do.
Edit: they beat the other shitty LA team that nobody wanted. They also beat the Vikings...but so did the Bills by nearly 40 |
