Royals play week 2. Two straight years on the road for the first 2. Maybe Andy likes it that way. We are home more late in the year.

Nothing better than starting the year off 1-0

pugsnotdrugs19 04-17-2019 03:10 PM

Jacksonville week 1 is interesting. Should be a solid opponent. Should also be a win.

Iconic 04-17-2019 03:19 PM

Well that sucks. Would have preferred starting the season by knocking the Pats off their pedestal

Kind of awkward that game isn't scheduled to be SNF. Way bigger than a hobbled Ben vs Pats rape fest 300

Oh well.

Oh well.

During banner hanging night with Gronk there to cheer them on?

No way they lose no matter what team they play.

Iconic 04-17-2019 03:23 PM

Even better. Spoil that pricks celebration.

Am I the only one not really hyped about the Packers matchup? Rodgers and the Packers don't really spook me. After watching him lay a turd in NE I just don't care.

O.city 04-17-2019 03:24 PM

Gonna try and go to Chicago for the BEars game. Will be pretty chilly I'd imagine.

Oh well.

CBS and FOX each basically get the AFC or NFC game of the year, respectively. The last several have been NE/PIT at 3:25 on CBS. But it’s our turn now to take one of those slots.

Good that we play them early while he's still getting his feet wet.

Interestingly enough, I think they’re probably 3rd or 4th still behind Indy and Houston at least. And yet I could still see them making the playoffs if things go a certain way—primarily the defense returning close to 2017 form.

Interesting bit of trivia as we wait for the NFL schedule to drop at 7 p.m. tonight -- the Chiefs have won 23 of their last 26 games against AFC West opponents:

19-0 on Sundays
2-0 on Mondays
1-0 on Saturday
1-3 on Thursdays

That was the fake twitter account that said we were opening at New England.

Right now the two variations have us hosting the Chargers in Week 2 or in Week 17. If the latter, our December schedule is brutal.

The Bears are a prime candidate to miss the playoffs after making it the previous year... tough division. Tough schedule, and all the things you mentioned. They won’t sneak up on anyone.

I can see 8-8.

It's possible, but the defense alone should keep them in games.

Assuming they stay very healthy, yes. But they remind me a lot right now of KC from 2013-2015. Defense carries the team, offense has some great days and some really bad ones, typically just average. Coach from the Reid tree.

Anywhere from 7-9 to 12-4 feels possible for them.
