Lol, wars aren’t usually fought on the internet. He doesn’t fight in quarters. His fighting is done in reputation given. What he writes in the reputations is much worse than ever sees the light of day in the Lounge.

He definitely takes this stuff too seriously. Many (even the nicer) posters here do, though.

His abrasive posting style is mostly an act though. Him and I used to go at it but eventually became cool.

I never had a problem with Dane. Sure, he can be a pompous ass but dammit, he's our pompous ass. There's a lot of people on here that can be abrasive, but that's kind of our style.

I sometimes wonder if he used the board as an anger outlet, since in private interactions I had with him here and elsewhere he was nothing like that.

when kcchiefs.com had their message board, there was a guy named Chief Arrowhead, who had a eerily similar writing style to Cooper. Its was a font-a-palooza with endless googling, much like it is here.

Dane, while I have not had much if any interaction with, aside from laughing from the sidelines, is lightyears ahead of what Cooper could ever hope to be. Dane blows up, but he's a model of consistency, and this place is far better with him in it IMO.

Had a vacation and met up with Dane at a local Denny's.
