Hunt Bros Pizza was very good. Maybe because all the toppings were fresh an added as one ordered. But since Shawnee Market closed, I have had another one.

Then Woodrows has a decent sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits. Made fresh each morning.

Steak sauce is what I would call a superfluous sauce.
So far as its intended companion, it's been a long long time since I made or ordered a steak so woeful that a sauce could improve it.
For anything else, it's not that I dislike steak sauce, as it is that I don't place its 'tang' high on the list of flavors I'm looking for.
If someone had fries, but told me they were out of ketchup [etc], and would steak sauce be all right, I'd politely accept. Same if they gave me a shitty steak. Otherwise, there are better choices.

Heinz 57, on the other hand, is straight shite.

In our region, Casey's pizza and Chester's Chicken....although they vary a bit based on location/management.

When I was a kid I loved QT bean burritos. That's probably the last thing I regularly bought at a gas station/convenience store, and it's been decades at this point.

It's not really revolutionary, just surprisingly high quality for a convenience store.

Decent crust, not too thick or thin. Plentiful toppings.

Probably the things that give them the most loyalty is three specialty pizzas in particular, Taco, Bacon Cheeseburger, and Breakfast.

Their taco pizza, and also the fact that seemingly every little one horse town in the midwest has a Caseys

+1 I was not sure if anyone here knew of Wawa...they have subs, wraps, flatbreads and at one time panini's...I was sad when they pulled their panini selection. My fave is probably their philly cheesesteak with grilled onions. Grab me a bag of UTZ barbeque chips and I'm napping 45 minutes later.

We also have Sheetz, which does subs, but I dont think they're as good.

WaWa's paninis were phenomenal. Sheetz does have good food too, though RoFo beats them on chicken and WaWa on subs

Some of our QT's in Wichita have started selling pulled pork and brisket sandwiches and tacos....they are actually pretty good.

Man, I don't do a lot of fast food but now I'm in the mood for a Wawa meatball.. I always do the classic with provolone, parm, oregano and add the pepperoni. That shit is on point. Guess I'll do that for lunch tomorrow :)

not familiar with RoFo...the local Sheetz, I think suffers due to the help...there's only a few wawa's that I go to, the others are a bit sketchy.

I like the idea of Casey's pizza, If I lived there; I'd have a hard time NOT going to Tim's or Funhouse ....or Minsky's for that matter. Certainly it's not better than those places...?
