If the ball wasn't underthrown, he had perfect defense. |
It was face guarding.. Not the worst case ive ever seen.
But you have to spin your head around and look for tge ball if you're that into the receiver you're covering |

Tannehill is a free agent this offseason and giving a long term deal to a 30+ year old QB who has been mediocre almost his entire career, based on his Cinderella season isnt a good business decision. Theres a good chance he's signed and Mike Vrabel will become Jeff Fisher and the Titans will become acperennial 7 to 9 win team for the foreseeable future. They will be bad, but never bad enough to have a top 5 draft pick, so they can never ruin a young potential QBOTF. |

I have been thinking about this since the end of the season...I couldnt quite put my finger on this, but after last year, I went into this year with a confident feeling.
I will say that during the season, I have said multiple times that the only thing that can beat this team was penalties and it did. Aside from that, this team is dominant and it's not even close. After the last 30+ years of watching football, once Mahomes proved he was the real deal, this team is just different...they win. I KNOW what it feels like to be the Patriot teams of 2003-2004...KC is that team. That team no one wants to play....oh sure, someone's going to eek one out with a few helpful hankies, but KC is now THE team. This is the class of the NFL and they're just getting started. I know the loser feeling...I mean we all started calling it 'because chiefs'...go back and watch even one of the greatest KC games - Montana v. Elway, and KC had absolutely NO business winning that game. A lot of the wins KC had in the 90's were a joke or they managed to pull it out of their ass...it's why they failed regularly in the Playoffs because they just werent that good. That has flipped...It's a great time to be a Chiefs fan. |

I had several in line in front of me. While waiting in line, some obnoxious Titans fan put his flag over the side of the spiral walkway. Chiefs fans started chanting "jump, jump, jump...". The old lady Titans fan in front of me got all up on arms about that. I just told her that's what you get for being obnoxious in an opponents stadium. 🤣

It's going to be interesting to see how the Titans handle having both Henry and Tannehill as UFA's this off-season. Will they re-sign both of them before free agency? Will they sign one and franchise tag the other? Or will neither re-sign, forcing them to tag one and lose one? And if that's the case, who do they franchise, Henry or Tannehill?

It was, by the rule, PI as he ran into the WR before trying to turn his head around. I do think the rule needs to be adjusted, I think it is a little bit BS that a defender should have to let you go back through their bodies, or the position they have established, to get to the ball. |

Go **** yourself, queerbait. |
Chef fans sure do contradict themselves. You told me before the game (140 pages or so) that the nfl wanted mahomes and his finesse offense in the super bowl, and to watch if the game is close there will be some controversial calls. Just like the phantom offensive pass interference they called on us on a crucial 3rd down vs the patriots 2 years ago. The pats went on to destroy the tits but when the game is close they were making sure the pats would win.
The chiefs are the new pats, mahomes the new brady, and finesse teams are what people want to watch in the super bowl. The non fans dont care about anything else. |
Quote:
Suck my schlong, loser. |
The Tits got completely dominated and physically manhandled by this “finesse” team.
Clean the shit out of your eyes and watch the games. |
I could see the Titans going all in on Tannehill and then see him reverting right back to his play in Miami. He came in this year with no expectations, no pressure. We've seen that happen many times in the NFL when a backup plays way above expectations. How does he handle it when he's "the chosen one" and they're building around him?
|
I could see the Tits doing....whatever. I don’t care and won’t pay any attention, they’re screwed like every other team is with Pat playing in their conference the next decade. Sucks to be them
|

that's all a bunch of bullshit that's probably leftover PTSD from all the years in which we'd lose the play-off game on some fluke because we didn't have an elite QB that could overcome anything. Which is where you are now. Sorry, dude. It sucks. |

You guys need make Henry the highest paid RB & give Tannehill a 5 year deal for $150 million guaranteed. Then you’ll have a team to root for again otherwise who is your QB & RB? |

(1) Trade high on Tannehill for picks or players? (2) Let Mariotta go or trade if he's under contract? |

they need to let them all go, even Henry, and package the picks to go get a franchise QB. You're not going to win a Super Bowl with a high mileage running back and game manager QB. You're just not. It's pointless to even try. |

In the past few years when suspect officiating was at play you heard every pundit show (First Take, Get Up, Undisputed, etc.) out there talking about them. This year crickets. Get a pad for your weeping vagina. You are embarrassing yourself. |

That finesse offense just outrushed the strong Titans run game.

So as SOON as the ball is snapped, the sideline judge throws a flag. And then as the play is progressing, the judge behind the play throws another one. The officials huddle and announce the hold. Titans fans: "The sideline judge had decided he was going to throw a flag either way! It's rigged!!!" Well they didn't see the official behind the play throwing the holding flag. And during the conference with the officials, they either 'picked up' the sideline judge's flag or just ignored it. But you can see from the replay that he threw it because the WR and TE are both on the line. It was an illegal formation flag that he threw. Had the officials just done the usual "There are two flags on the play, both against the offense..." they'd have had nothing to bitch about. But because the officials only announced the holding penalty, Titans fans are calling it rigged. It wasn't - the RG committed a stupid (and egregious) hold on the backside of the play. It was a clear penalty right in front of the official that had no bearing on the play itself. But it was an obvious penalty. As for the PI on Hardman...pft, who cares? Game was effectively over at that point and that play gets called more often than it doesn't. Do I think it SHOULD? No, no I do not. That was an underthrown ball and the DB should've had the right to his spot on the field. This whole 'turn his head' thing is so boilerplate these days as to become comical. That was solid defense to me on a poorly thrown pass that created contact. Do I wish the NFL would stop bailing offenses out for those kinds of throws? Yup - but they aren't. They throw that flag nearly every time. It was no different than the PI on Breeland on 3rd and 22 - that was a penalty. He grabbed the jersey. Was it soft? Yup. Did it matter on the play? Nope. I wish they'd let that stuff go but ultimately they don't. I agree with the folks saying that it was one of the better officiated games of the year - they did a really nice job. |

It's funny because you don't notice in real time how hard some of those hits are, but Sorensen knocked a 240 lb man about 12-15 feet sideways. Hits him right at his thighs, lifts him up and around and then he comes down on his shoulder. And took his sweet time getting back up. That 'soft' defense took Henry's legs from him right then and there. He was done. And then Dan did it to Tannehill a couple drives later. Ryan didn't really want to play football anymore after that play. The 'tough' Titans got bullied off the football field Sunday. |
Damn, detox went full top rope on them.
Sadly, he's right. |
Henry had over 400 touches this year. Going into a free agency year, that's not ideal.

You ****ing pussy. The Tits got beat. Plain and easy. There were no controversial calls. Mahomes just torched your ass, and the defense knocked you silly. You want OLD school? Big Dick Dan force****ed your face, Honey Badger whooped that ass like your father, Pennel took your lunch money, and then Frank Clark took your bike and your chain, bitch. |

I'm just really glad that we don't have to try to come with all these bullshit arguments for why we lost anymore.
God it really sucked being in QB purgatory. |
The Tits had a nice run. They backed into the playoffs as a 6-seed and made it all the way to the championship game. As moral victories go, that's an impressive one.
But we're moving on, so **** off. See you.... whenever. https://media.giphy.com/media/1vWzzL...ized-large.gif |
They realize they got gifted a TD after a 5 yard pass got called PI on 3rd and 25 right???

Henry's at a gallop in one direction and Dan knocks his ass several yards through the air at a 90 degree angle. And like I said - Henry didn't seem to want any more after that. But I was told that running the ball tires defenses out and had they just kept running, sooner or later defenders don't want to hit 'em anymore. Turns out that they just kept running and sooner or later Derrick Henry didn't want to GET HIT anymore. Because Wallcrawler is as dumb as the Titans fans. |

Gruden coached a super bowl AGAINST the team he'd just built. Like he had a Super Bowl in which BOTH teams were his. I mean, that's pretty crazy. |

Loved reading every page of that patsfan link. I think the Patriots are even more mad than Titans fans. Wishing injuries on players, thinking Brady is better than Mahomes and Mahomes is just average. Lol
After years of having the greatest QB of all time, and all of the calls going their way....now to see them crying. Delicious. |
