Vitamix is the bomb.

I bought my woman a Breville blender about two years ago. She uses it almost everyday, mostly for making sauces. It's a great investment if you are into healthy cooking and intend to use it.

I also have a glass "Oster" blender for shakes and cocktails.

This, it will grind up a cell phone to dust... you tube it...

It will also mix ingredients so fast that it creates hot soup... seriously.

That's cool. And yeah, if you only use it 5 times a year, it's not worth it.

Obviously everyone has their preferences if you use a blender all the time, then by all means buy the good one.

Just the same if you enjoy watching a lot of TV buy the giant 4k tv for 2 grand with the 1k sound system, if you aren't ever home that wouldn't be smart either, all about what each person values.
