I'd watch this but I've still got a dick attached and I'm pretty sure it slides off in shame upon viewing such things.

can't believe anyone on CP gives a rats behind about it.

Thinking of the entire Royal family burning alive in a tunnel bus-fire does bring a smile to my face though. One of these buses though for the extra lulz:

I usually go out of my way to avoid Royal/celebratory gossip/interview. But I was hanging out with my mom and she wanted to watch it so I did also.
For all the hate she gets, I thought Meghan came across as more down to earth and compelling than I expected. She did a good job of convincing me that life inside the gilded jail was probably pretty screwed up and her life, and perhaps even her husband's Harry, might be better off outside. Yes, it was only one side and not following the gossip I don't know the monarchy's side. But Meghan made a reasonably compelling case and she came across on camera better than I expected. She certainly convinced me that the monarchy as an institution is screwed up and even by the screwed up standards of "never complain and never explain" she probably got a raw deal. If you say you are suicidal and need help and the response is tough ****, that ain't right. It doesn't matter how big your bathroom is or how many servants you have. She convinced me she is better off outside of it. She convinced me that the UK taxpayer's should get rid of the monarchy. Like any couple with a young kid and another on the way, I wish them good luck for a long and happy marriage. They will probably need it. |

I kind of like Piers now (much like Shannon Sharpe, I never thought I'd say that). He stopped drinking the koolaid.
As for the royals, I do have a certain amount of respect for the Queen, but it pretty much ends with her. She seems to be adrift in a sea of douchebags, particularly Charles. He's straight out of the Monty Python upper class twit of the year sketch. But sadly many of those douchebags are what they are because of her failure to be a good parent. Glad my tax dollars aren't paying for them. |

What was Meghan thinking. All she had to do was look at the history of women who marry into this family. Maybe, her and Harry happen to naturally fall in love and being in this family was just to much for her. Now Harry is trying to protect her and his offspring. Can't say I blame him.
Try marrying into a Rich family with history and you'll find that the majority of the family are a bit off. |
England is so damn stupid. How can there be a royal family in 2021? Should have been stopped when Parliament was formed.

I am firmly on team I quit caring about the royal family in 1776 when we told them to get the **** up on out of OUR country. The only reason I even opened this thread is because I am bored to tears at the moment.
From the little bit that I've been subjected to this British soap opera (because the story is everywhere) I get the sensation that Meghan is a spoiled, woke, millennial activist type. Not that I hold the royals in any higher regard but, it is their world she chose to join. I suppose that her being an American I could try and find amusement in her figurative destruction of Buckingham Palace as payback for the Brits burning down the White House in the War of 1812 but, yeah, I still can't find any ****s to give. And I just can't wrap my mind around why so many in this country do. Delayed Stockholm Syndrome? |

Cromwell was sort of like our George Washington. Cromwell dissolved the Barebone’s Parliament and had himself declared Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England on the 16th of December 1653. He was basically acting as king in all but name. When Cromwell died guess who he named his successor? His son. It went badly for Cromwell's son and soon enough the people of England wanting their monarch back. Charles the 2nd came back to England to claim the crown. https://royalcentral.co.uk/features/...to-1660-80920/ |

Imagine being offended at the thought of the Royal Family being racist. Of course the royal family is racist, their bloodline is the only reason they matter at all. That makes them royal supposedly, royal bundle of stickss
Imagine if our country was run by someone who happened to emerge from the proper vagina ROFL |

If she would have taken a stance like: It's like having kids, there's no way that reading about it can actually prepare you for the reality... That would have been more believable. |

Prince Harry's game really fell off a cliff this year. Maybe he can get back to decent now that he is playing for the Colts, but after seeing this thread i have to wonder about off the field issues.

But, for instance, do you think her claim of feeling suicidal was 'all an act' and she never asked for help, and they never told her tough? |
