I think it probably depends on how long you've been on death row.

She never was and it's only getting worse.

Her penis and testicles may sway your decision.

A better story would be a movie about the Chiefs 1998 season.

Rainbarrel 07-08-2021 11:52 AM

Get a free movie pass with the purchase of HyVee brand mint jelly.

That has already been done, see Titanic.

Of course she is....of course...

They're banking on people watching it "because football". And they may be right.

I mean, who really gave a shit about Blindside? People still watched it. Draft Day? Who gave a **** about the Browns. People still watched it.

I'll definitely watch it, assuming I don't have to actually pay to do so.

Well looks like they are right in line with their previous films then. That looked like straight garbage.

Hollywood waited too long. Nobody wants to see it, so it’s got no buzz. And it doesn’t help that it appears to be a shoddily-made movie, either.

Kurt Warner is the executive producer soooo......

Nobody else would touch this movie so the Warners begged some POS company to shit it out.

I think it's probably more that the Warners wanted the movie to have a lot of this in it:

A tragicomedy ROFL

Perhaps in the style of Scarface.

"Carlface"

Check out the :28 mark of that preview clip where Quaid says "Welcome to the Rams."

That's not a good Vermeil impression?

No. Quaid looks like he does too much coke in this trailer. Which, he probably does.

His energy and voice are all wrong for Vermeil.

He should be playing Gunther, not mild-mannered Dick Vermeil.

Greg Kinnear was perfect casting and never should have been changed. But the people who produced this movie probably just went with the only past-his-prime A-lister they could find.

Chiefspants 07-08-2021 05:41 PM

Quaid does a lot of these sort of Christian produced movies nowadays so he was probably an easy get.

That's a big red flag, particularly given that the Warners are the producers. I think I'll take a pass on this sermon...er, movie.

Bowser 07-08-2021 06:07 PM

Covid has been a bitch on Hollywood, apparently. Zachary Levi was all HELL YEAH when offered a chance to play a QB in a half-ass movie that should have been made 10-15 years ago.

Deberg_1990 07-08-2021 06:28 PM

I smell a sleeper hit!

Bump 07-08-2021 06:52 PM

guaranteed the movie starts off with him bagging groceries with a grim look on his face and on his break he gets a phone call from Dick Vermeil and then takes off his apron and throws it at the manager.

I heard Kevin Sorbo was busy, so thankfully they got Quaid instead

ChiefBlueCFC 07-08-2021 07:08 PM

Saw a couple still frames from the movie and it didn’t look good. I know that isn’t a good indicator of a quality movie but it looked low quality

Is the manager streaking down the store's sidelines? Because that would be cool.

But he throws a cantaloupe instead of an apron.

gblowfish 07-08-2021 08:29 PM

I thought Quaid was coaching Syracuse?

FloridaMan88 07-08-2021 09:38 PM

Randy Quaid would make the movie more interesting.

ChiefsCountry 07-08-2021 10:01 PM

That's the Cowboys indoor practice facility I'm pretty sure they are using for the Rams home games.

Tribal Warfare 07-08-2021 11:52 PM

Zack Levi : " I watched Kurt Warner as a kid ". Zack who are you bullshiting you were legally an adult in your late teens to early twenties during Warner's time with the Rams

Can't wait to see how the conversation between God and the Rams goes and how he was able to get Kurt out of bagging groceries and into the NFL. Amen!

RobertWeathers 07-09-2021 02:14 PM

There is the Rams/Giants butch Brenda Warner and there is a AZ Brenda Warner..

AZ Brenda was very MILFy

Eureka 07-09-2021 02:49 PM

Might of had more hype if the they changed Kurt's name to La'Kurtis and had a PC angle of overcoming the stigma of the Black QB. I mean it's kind of his story with just a slight twist.

Wait a second… Chuck Norris is playing the part of Kurt Warner?!?!? That’s going too far. I know Kurt Warner is tough … but he’s not that tough.

That opening at Martz’s desk just kinda rang false for me.

I wonder if that actually happened? Nobody knew at the time how ‘complex’ and good that offense was going to be.

Gonna be the best movie of all time.

Slightly annoyed at the fact of the clip of Martz slamming his headset as the jacket coloring and logo is after the logo re-design in 2000, not 1999.
