Equally sad is the mentality of some posting in this thread. Even if the woman in the Mixon situation instigated the physical contact, Mixon's response is indefensible, and anyone trying to defend it needs to seriously self-reflect about their own anger and adequacy issues. Yeah, Mixon can defend himself, but a response has to be proportional and sufficient to negate the threat of injury. His disproportionate response was ugly. Guarantee you that you show that to a district attorney, they prosecute.

Some details to add to this:

The woman's name is Kristin Evans. She has two children, one with Stacy (5 mos old), and an older child. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 13th. As of now, Stacy is on the run and drives a white 2020 Kia Optima. Kristen has been placed in undisclosed protected location with police security.

This was not the first incident with the couple. Police had previously responded to the same address (419 W Hull Ave. Oakland, FL) on Aug. 16th and Sept. 26th. The Sept. 26th incident resulted in charges being filed against Stacy with the state's attorney's office.

There were at least 2 different angles of that assault...inside the apartment. Seems like someone predicted this would happen and had the video set up to record it. I'm imagining the remarkably calm reaction of the woman is due in part to the fact that she knew she now had him on camera. Get out without provoking him further and risking more serious injury.
