We are going to show the world why we are the team everyone wants to be. Double digit win for the Chiefs...DO IT ****ERS!!

This team is on a roll lately.
41-14 22-9 48-9 36-10 I smell another blowout. |
Kelce is going to be supremely motivated next Sunday… after being forced to miss today’s game and playing back in his college town for only the second time in his career (and the first with a real QB/Mahomes).
|
I think long term Burrow will be the second best young QB in the NFL (behind Mahomes). In spite of that KC is too dialed in and experienced to lose this.
|
Weird stat for this game, the Chiefs have never won a game at Paul Brown Stadium. Time for some history to be written.

A lot of the points the Chief's D has given up have been in garbage time. This is the best defense we have seen in a long time. |

They HAVE to fix their OL and soon. Burrow is still getting hit way too often. |

I don't think Cinci's line can keep Jones, Ingram, and Clark from killing Burrows.
Chiefs 30-17. Gore goes over 100. |
Chiefs history of playing in Cincinnati is not good.
I think this team is good enough to overcome it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure where else to put this, but the Chiefs' schedule this season has been insane. We finish with the Bengals and donx while asshats like the bills finish with Atlanta and Jets? Are you ****ing kidding me?
the Colts play raiders and jags. Titans play dolphins and texans. |

Burrows is going to need a rape kit and lots of therapy after this game. CJ is going to break him.

I know it's a Deberg trolling post but for ****s sake Deberg your schtick gets old. Chiefs defense is not giving up 17 points in this game. A shootout is preposterous. I'm only saying 17 points for late game garbage without the starters in the fourth quarter. |
Burrows.
Plural. Don't know how we will beat them if they have 2 Burrows. |
We aren't rolling in there with the AIDS fueled dumpster fire that is the Baltimore Ravens _efense.
They didn't know whether to shit or wind their watch the entire game. Busted coverages, guys wide open all day. Not going to see that against KC. |
Bengals smoke more pole than Cleavage.
|
The Bengals are sunk when Burrow turns it over. I think you play him like the Drew Lock Broncos.
Burrow will trust his arm too much on throws he should never attempt and the picks will be there. When I say Drew Lock though, Burrow isn't going to throw a luxury bag of shitty passes every drive. Basically he's what Denver hoped Bama bangs would become. |

ESPN had a stat on the scroll yesterday that the Ravens defense has given up something like 400+ passing yards and 4 TDs to seven or eight QBs this year.
Idk what the exact stat was but it was something like that. Basically, their defense is depleted and we should consider that when talking about Burrow's performance yesterday. |

Here is some of what Bengal fans are saying

Overall, that’s true but it doesn’t account for the dramatic turnaround in the defense. The early season results are skewing those stats. |

“Before sifting through the KC thread I believed we had a shot to win. Now I have learned the truth, and I'm terrified. Mahomes is a combination of Unitas, Elway, Manning, Rodgers, and Jesus. After the last of Kelce's 8 TD's he will run through the end zone, out of the stadium and up to Clifton, where he will leap over Nippert Stadium with a single bound as a tribute to his alma mater. The entire Kansas City Football Team defense is headed for Canton. They will sack Burrow 40 times and intercept him 10. Then after the game they will roast and eat him on the Bengals logo. But worst of all, our dirty little secret that we all suck ass has been revealed.” |

This should be a good game, a game that we should win but could also drop it.
I am hoping for a win and will only think good thoughts of a win. |
Wow, Teicher wrote that it's hard to see the Chiefs losing to the Bengals.
Is this good or bad? |

They took being called Appalachian Hill Folk in stride, too - and seem to have a similar gameday thread experience as this place LMAO |
Will point out the obvious that "shit schedule" ≠ "shit team" ..... simply means unproven.
They have one quality-ish win all season and have still managed 6 losses. Ya'll can be impressed with that I guess, but so were Bills fans last season, and Chiefs fans every year Alex Smith beat a bunch of bad teams and then did nothing against real playoff contenders, and so forth. The Browns last season were a great example, except their fans seemed to more or less understand they weren't quite there yet. Ya'll can hang yourself up on a cross, but it's not really about completely disrespecting the Bengals... we know who the Chiefs are because they've proven themselves over and over. The Bengals have their shot at proving something this weekend. Besides the Skip Baylesses and Debergs of the world who want to build some hype and get the clicks or whore for attention, no one is going to slober over your team until they actually do something impressive. |

It’s hard to tell what we’ll get from the Bengals. They have losses to the Jets and Bears. The Chargers throttled them also. They are dangerous but don’t have no consistency.
|
I hope they wear those cute leg warmers of theirs
|
Random fact… Burrow is just one year younger than Mahomes.
But generations apart in terms of accomplishments. |
Spags will handle Burrow. Mahomes will take care of the rest.
I see a 30-24 game with the Bengals adding a garbage time score. |
There will be a ton of build up over this game since its Burrow (who the media will overhype this week) vs Mahomes.
I'm glad the Bengals killed the Ravens last week, I think it sets things up perfectly for the Chiefs, who will want to get Kelce and Hill back into the mix. |
When you are the Chiefs, every game becomes the opposing team's biggest game. It's Herbert vs Mahomes!!!! It's Carr vs Mahomes!!!! It's Big Ben vs Mahomes!!
and every week, Patrick hands the opposing team their care package.. https://c.tenor.com/f0Eo8yp9uIkAAAAM...ere-you-go.gif It's where we are at with this Franchise right now...............and I love it :) |
No one is beating the Chiefs if Mahomes plays like he did against the Steelers. He played one of his best games of the year and he did it without Kelce. It’s like he got through progressions more quickly knowing that Kelce wasn’t an option. He showed pocket poise, excellent vision, accuracy, and decision making. What a scary game to watch if you’re a defensive coordinator trying to prepare for the Chiefs.
|
The Bengals are just a terrible organziation. how do you have an elite QB on a rookie contract and still suck? They give up more sacks than just about any team. They've got a poopey running game. Their defense is bottom half. Just a henious franchise. They could be stacked with free agents and still be under the salary cap. Bengals are flukey though. They could get after Mahomes and force a pick, and then it's a game. Chiefs shouldn't give a team that's built like the 90's dolphins any leeway. Don't allow Burrow to play with a lead.

Mahomes is laser focused right now. I expect us to completely annihilate the first team we face in the postseason. |

Bengals are an exciting team to watch and will definitely give our defense some problems. They got young exciting talent all over the place. But, we got Showtime, and they don't

The silver lining for the Bengals and their fans on Sunday is that our ass has to taste better than spaghetti chili
|

Trey Hendrickson is the only Bengal who really worries me. He gave us fits last year with New Orleans.
I’m sure Andy will have a plan for him, but he is really good. |

Don't let the Bengals hang around until the 4th QTR.
Crush their souls early and often so we can cruise to another big win. |
Unfortunately for Cincy they are playing the Chiefs late in the season, after the rebuilt OL and D finally gelled. If this game had been earlier in the season they would have had a legit shot at winning by a significant margin (7+... remember, before the SB with the replacement OL, Mahomes-led KC had never lost a game by more than 8 points... most losses, few that they were, were by an avg of 4pts; and that was with significantly weaker defenses).
Barring more COVID BS, this team is healthy and on track. Mahomes has settled into the check-down offense to counter the 2-deep looks, and now carves teams up on long drives. The OL is dominating, esp. the interior (those three are seriously incredible - takes me back to the OL Green had in the Vermeil years). The D is as good as it has ever been under Reid (addition of Ingram, moving CJ back inside, starting Thornhill, Gay, and Bolton = so much win). Play-calling is working in the run just enough to force defenses to respect it, allowing for big play-action shots. This team is peaking at the right time. Cincy's offense has put up some gaudy numbers, but surrendering that many sacks is a huge red flag: 47 sacks for -340yds, and there are still a couple of games remaining, will seriously impair your future. KC's DL can get to the QB, and Cincy's pass protection is less than stellar. Tough game for Cincy. This is a serious test of their resolve. Are they going to man up and play toe-to-toe with the big dogs, or roll over and get throttled? This game should be flexed IMO; no one wants to watch the sorry ass squealers play the cleveland turds on MNF. Hell, the GB/Minn game is a snooze-fest SNF; GB has it locked up and Minn is dead in the water. KC at Cincy is a legit big game matchup. This could be a real score-fest if Burrow can get the ball out of his hands quickly (but if he doesn't, this game is going to get ugly). |
Quote:
Burrows has to model his game after Marino if he want's to survive the Bengals organization. Ball has to come out quick and with authority. This could be the game where that finally sinks in with Burrows (Jones is a monster). |

That board is fantastic. Reminds me of us in the Axle Smith years. Some had annointed him the king, some blamed the team around him and some blamed him for short comings. Burrow is going to be good if they can build a team around him, but the bengals have a history of not doing that. Ill believe when they convince me. That being said they are a talented team and a team ive rooted for (mostly against the ravens).
|
Their OLine sucks and we should have pretty much our whole D in place including Bolton.
Burrows may get raped worse than Ben. |
All of these teams and fans who have never encountered the Mahomes Chiefs directly always have to learn the hard way. There's no other way at first, but it is the only way.
|
Did someone in here really call them "Appalachian Hill Folk" or was just some trumped up moniker to create some faux rage.
Gotta love the guy raging against "his old boss"....sounds as if there was a lot behind that comment. A lot of insecurities coming out of that thread. Used to love to go watch them hold their Training Camp in Georgetown Kentucky when it was there. Was funny at times listening to the fan base talk about "this could be our year" in August only to see it derail 8 games into the season. |

One day the Bengals will have a superstar and go to multiple superbowls and their fan base will become just as spoiled and annoying as all sports teams fans can be when winning... it's just part of it. But like a few people stated on their forums... they have to earn that respect and right now they haven't done shit. PS to Bengals fan reading this... **** the Browns, Steelers, and Ravens. I hope next week is a classy matchup and a good game. |
