At least he's not Bradley Chubb.

I'd be fine with Randy Gregory (if he's allowed on the field) and Malik Reed as our starters. I wonder what the trade market for Chubb would be.

I'm not sure, but I think the point is to be actively on the field playing. No one is denying Gregory's ceiling as a player, but you can't begin to talk about his ceiling before acknowledging the floor, on which he has resided on for a number of years.

Denver basically reset the edge market and it's probably why Veach kept Clark around. All these guys in FA are going to get overpaid because of this dumb deal. Stupid Donks take the L.

Im going to go out on a limb here and bet it's not going to work out. Let's see if I'm right...

Like the fact Dallas was eager to retain him. Like the fact that Dallas put him on their leadership council last year.

Whatever else can be said, the team with the most information on him wanted to keep him for what is reportedly the exact same money.

I don't even care if he is good. Our offensive line is better than their defensive line and my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard that's right my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.

I hope that doesn't come across gay just saying our offensive line is better than anything thing the AFCWest can throw at us.

K Mack is coming off a foot surgery we don't know how well that will hold up and we've handled Bosa plenty before. This Randy Gregory is a chump that got paid and doesn't have to prove himself.

Randy Gregory could go down as worst FA signing of the season.

Could be. George Paton's batting average is pretty damn good, though. Paton could've had any EDGE he wanted and chose Gregory.

A great plus in the Gregory deal is the length. Most FA's sign for two or three years, Gregory is locked in for five, so as the cap goes up that $14M per year looks better and better.

Except he won't see the field much so when u factor actual games played that will drastically change your equation. Just sit back and watch what happens.

The max pot suspension is three games now and he hasn't failed a test since he was reinstated, despite being tested ten times per month.

Ok. You'll see.

I view this like a when an average guy blows up in his contract year. Gregory knew he was close to blowing it, so he got his shit together... did well and was going to get paid. Ultimate goal.

Now, the trick is, can he stay on the straight path and make the weed love subside? If he can, the dude could be a huge addition. I'm very cautiously optimistic given the depth of the issues and length of suspensions.

I don't care if people smoke pot really, but know where you are and understand the rules... you're a cog in the machine and a very expensive cog. Do what you can do and stay off the weed.

Has this guy been suspended yet?

We know its coming sooner or later-lol

I thought Gregory was washed out of the league years ago until all this went down.

Congratulations. You’re paying Frank Clark prices for another Frank Clark. You guys enjoy that.

They ranked 6th and 7th respectively in 2021 according to pff

How many pancakes is Trey Smith going serve up on Randy Gregory that is the question.

ARROW2 03-16-2022 09:54 PM

They better be glad they got Wilson, that will have some impact, this won't

I don't know if this is true, but I've read that his agent said that the Cowboys wanted to be able to mess with his money even if he got a fine without actually missing games via suspension. So, if that's true, then that's a shitty thing to try to get away with and an even shittier thing to spring on someone at the last minute.

Who? Randy Gregory? Is he gender non-conforming?
