It will be interesting to see how the Jones situation plays out.

Jones is significantly more important and harder to replace. You can make the case he's the DPOTY and the best DT in the game right now. He's also a leader on the team and unlike Reek, he didn't have any shady things happening with him and his woman/kids. You have to re-sign this guy.

Now, what they do with OBJ is another thing. I was all aboard giving him a new deal but am starting to think if he's gonna be unreasonable then it's time to move on. We can make do with mediocrity at LT and we can deal with paying out the ass for a LT but we cannot deal with paying out the ass for mediocrity. I'm sure we can find some rookie in the 1st round to pass protect for Mahomes-at a fraction of the cost.

I also think that we could probably get a 2nd from a run first team like PIT who have a rookie deal QB and won't mind forking over $$$$ for OBJ as he fits their offense better anyways.
