The last time the AL lost the All-Star Game was in Kansas City

The baseball All-Star Game still grabs my attention in the early innings and there's still a buzz when the starters are in during the first three to four innings. Tonight all the fun stuff happened early on.

But once the starters started getting subbed out and guys like Martin Perez and Paul Blackburn were pitching, this game turned into a snooze fest really quick.

The game has also tended to be pitching-dominated in recent years, much like what is plaguing real baseball. The NL only had one hit after the first inning tonight.
