I'm wondering how many of you have to make in the moment decisions at 100 MPH with a timeclock. And how many of you are watched and criticized by tens of millions of people for every decision or non decision. I don't think you guys could handle it. Penalties and sloppy play. Likely a conditioning problem that led to players making mental mistakes or trying to sneak by with "the cheap stuff" since they didn't have 100% effort. Just like the end of most games. It's normal and not unheard of. That's on the players, not the refs.
