Bills/Bengals can’t waste their time scouting the Chiefs/Jags game. If we win, Reid is scouting those teams immediately instead of focusing on the jags. |
Trevor Lawrence is going to put his Saturday streak on the line. Never lost a game on a Saturday.
|
We should crush them.
|
Chiefs 27, Jaguars 0
....that's it. That's the final score. |

I love having the first game. If we win, I can relax and watch the other teams fight it out. If they lose, it doesn’t matter when they played.

Refs better keep an eye on Andre Cisco

Need to jump on them early and reinforce the happy to be here in them.

Think back to the start of the season and how loony you would have sounded stating our Divisional Round game would be against Jacksonville.

But I doubt it will be quite that easy. JAX has grown since we saw them last, and Pederson is a great coach. A Super Bowl winning coach. He'll have the team better prepared this time. It won't matter in the end, but it will probably be a closer game this time. |

A win over the Jaguars and Mahomes will have defeated every AFC South team in the playoffs.

that team isn't on our level

This team scared me the least out of all the contenders to play us. Dare I say, they kind of remind me of the Harbaugh-led 95 Colts. Only difference is that Steve Bono, fortunately, isn’t walking through that turnstile.

Curiously waiting who the officiating crew will be since our boy Cheffers was off this weekend.

Shit! I haven't seen a thing this team can't handle in all the games this weekend. Chiefs got this!

And JAX will play a cleaner game as well, plus Pederson is going to throw the kitchen sink at us, early. He knows that the Jags aren't likely to beat KC straight up, so he's going to have to try and manufacture yards/points wherever he can. And they're going to come out of the gate hot. Chiefs are going to have to weather that at first. But as long as KC doesn't turn the ball over multiple times, they'll win going away. If JAX gives us a couple short fields early, forget it. Andy will bury them before half time. |

Correct me if Im wrong but didn't we have some receivers out for this game as well? Hardman for sure and was this the game JuJu sat due to concussion? I seem to remember because I played MVS in fantasy and he caught a TD. Pretty sure it may have been Toneys debut as well.

We win this one. Even if only by 1 score, we win.

I'm just glad Jacksonville gets to take another step towards greatness by losing to Kansas City... its reeeally gonna help them going forward
|
Well looky here. You seem nice.

Cisco laid the hitstick on juju and Kelce in that game, which was close, we had two missed FGs and a illegible man downfield that brought a TD back

Really glad this game is in KC. Would hate for the guys to be seduced by the bacteria-infested cesspool hot tub and tatted-up guidos out in left field in Jacksonville.
|
Just watched the highlights...
Jags recovered onside kick on opening kickoff Pacheco fumbled in the redzone Butker missed a PAT Fortson fumbled a kickoff. Mahomes had an ugly pick which led to one of their TDs We had the ball late in our own territory could have put up points but just killed the clock Hardman did not play Juju knocked out with concussion Trade for Toney was made that week Also of note. Jags had ZERO turnovers. We had THREE plus a lost possession on onside kick. Jags kicker did miss a 51 yarder and I believe 41 yarder. Far from a perfect game and still won comfortably. Id guess only a handful of players on their roster have played a road playoff game. |
Shad hasn't tried to move us to London. He has invested millions into jacksonville and is putting in a 1.2 billion upgrade in the next couple years at the current stadium. The ones who think we are moving are also the ones who think we can't sell out a home game. Go look at our attendance ave we are not even close to the bottom.
We have London games the same reason you have games in mexico. They make your owner alot of money |
Jaguars are a well coached team with a lot of talent. You ought to have some talented players when you're picking near the top of the draft for ages.
But we already saw this game earlier in the year, as long as we don't beat ourselves, should be fine. |
I rarely feel this way but I’m going with a point proving bloodbath. I think it’s going to be the Chiefs’ best against a team that is on a stage they aren’t ready for.
Chiefs 45 Jags 17 |

Yep. I can't see a way the Chiefs can lose this game outside of a turnover meltdown. Even then, Mahomes can easily outpace Trevor in any shootout scenario. Especially in the biggest game of Trevor's experience. In most of their team's experiences. In Arrowhead.
It's probably going to be a smokeshow. |

Meanwhile your trash franchise gives up a home game every year to play in London. Otherwise it is exactly the same. LMAO |
Andy Reid 20-3 in his career after a bye (not certain if that includes playoffs). Feel strongly Mahomes and Reid will be ready to hang 40+ if needed.

Please report to room 6 for your Playoffs 101 class, Jax

It would have been more fun to find Jagwads fans to talk to last year.
So much to discuss… https://media.tenor.com/H2KuJMJFX_QA...n-nebraska.gif |
Rested, just watched their peers almost blow it, young QB in Arrowhead for the playoffs. All week it’ll be about the Bengals/Bills and Trevor on Saturdays.
This is going to be a laser focused bunch and they are going to shove his streak up his ass. It’ll bring back memories of the Super Bowl 54 run. |

I have a Jacksonville Jaguars Starter pullover jacket and a Mark Brunnel jersey from like 1996 when I was a kid at my parents house. For some odd reason, I liked the Jags when I was a little kid.
/adds nothing of relevance to this thread |
So the Chiefs are coming off the bye and the Jags now have a short week?

I'm hoping for a big. big win for the Chiefs. We win by 3 TDS
BUT Would also like to see Trey Smith destroy Andre Cisco just for fun. Maybe late in game when we have a 4 TD lead, JuJu Smith-Schuster does a blind-side leveling block on Cisco just to give him something to think about during the off-season. That's not asking for much is it? |

We get Hardman back hopefully his jet sweeps will be a thing.

I'm guessing there'll be talk this week about the Jags' "great comeback" - spun as a positive. And that the 2nd half is who they are. Needing that type of comeback is a HUGE red flag. It reminds you EXACTLY like the biggest frauds in NFL history, the Vikings, needing the same type of fluke miracle comeback against the Colts.
This will be just like one of a handful of our recent comfortable playoff victories, where it's crystal clear from the outset that the 2 teams are on a completely different level. Their D isn't gonna have ANY answers for our healthy offense. The home crowd and defense will be fired up vs a young, inconsistent offense. I'm MUCH happier getting the Jags than Ravens. I said that before the game to some dude who said he wanted the Ravens. Not that I'd have feared them obviously, but they'd make it a closer fight. |
Quote:
We have had a few miracle comebacks over the last 5 years , not sure it labels us as frauds sometimes a QB can just overcome adversity and will a team to victory, now Trevor hasn’t proven he can do that consistently like Pat or Tom yet but I would rather not have overlook them , everyone who is declaring this an eay W doesn’t watch the NFL. |
Quote:
And the Chiefs/Bills/Bengals are like 13-1 in recent playoff games not against each other or Bradys. |
Yeah....a lot of confidence in the Jags fans here in town. Already getting some of my neighbors who are confident the Jags D can slow down our Offense.
And they are really confident their Offense can run on us. Appreciate that they have some newfound enthusiasm but we need to bring them back down to earth |

One thing we learned after Wild Card weekend is that this game is going to be close and will come down to making a big play at the end. I wouldn't expect a blowout.

Thanks for taking out our division foes. Chargers meltdown was epic. I can't hate on your team. Doug Pederson was a chiefs assistant under Andy Reid and he's a damn good coach. But this is the playoffs and the chiefs do this well. I expect the game might be closer this time but the chiefs will still win confortably. Your boy, Cisco better watch his back. What's#duuvvaall? |
