Cincinnati, OH #41. Kansas City, MO (not on the list) https://www.businessinsider.com/us-n...america-2016-3 KC = shithole. |

By the way, I used to go to Cincinnati for work four to six times a year. There are a couple kinda cool neighborhoods there and Sotto is an objectively good Italian restaurant. But Kansas City is a far superior city in just about every way. |

I pretty much just check to see if Denver is at the top of list, and if it's not the methodology is flawed. |

As a native Kansas Citian, I'm favorably inclined toward all the midwestern cities. Cincinnati has at least two things that they do about as good as anywhere else in the world. One is their big marathon weekend, the Flying Pig. The race support is first-class and the crowds are awesome, which makes all of the Flying Pig weekend races well-loved. I ran there last year, my first-ever marathon, and I'm looking forward to returning there this year for the 25th anniversary edition of the Flying Pig.
Another great institution is Cincinnati Children's Hospital. They treat kids from all over and the discoveries they help make benefit all of our kids. I've only been to Cincinnati twice and haven't attended any football or baseball games there, but I would bet the folks there are like folks throughout the Midwest in being friendly to respectful visiting sports fans. |

While they are technically Midwest the afc north is a different animal when it comes to their fans. They have a lot more of that industrial grit. Steelers and browns have tough and passionate fans. Nice fans but they’ll give you a tough time if you’re wearing the wrong colors. Ravens are basically northeast fans. Cincy fans are wannabes. But talk to any afc north fan and you’ll see they’re universally annoyed by cincy fans for the same reason. It’s hard to take shit from fans who just got into the team two years ago. It’s hard to talk shit to fans who can so easily switch the team off when they aren’t a powerhouse. Losing feels really really personal to me which is why fairweather fans are just harder to stomach for me. |
Turns out Cincy is indeed a shithole, just like the rest of ohio.

Just ran my second Flying Pig Marathon on Sunday and this weekend made me an even bigger fan of that race and the people of Cincinnati. We ran through thunderstorms and plenty of lightning and yet the volunteers and crowds showed up to support the runners. Great, great series of races during Flying Pig weekend, no matter how fast or slow you are and what distance you like. Hard to imagine a better running event, especially for a back of the packer like me. Already signed up for next year!

I also got to see a Reds game after the race. I learned last year that Great America is an insurance company and corporate sponsor. I somehow thought that Cincinnati had just decided that they had the great American ballpark when they named it! :)
Anyway, that is a pleasant ballpark and city to visit. At the airport gift shop, I was thinking of asking if they had any Chiefs gear, but I decided not to, given how great the people of Cincinnati were to all the visitors this weekend. |

How many cities can lay claim to their mayor writing checks to a hooker? Who cares if he solicited a hooker, but he wrote checks for the services rendered. Thats everything Cincy.

I've been doxxed by two bengals fans this offseason.
What a weird, creepy, loser fanbase. |
Was in Cinci a few weeks ago. Man...yeah...it is an unwell city. Pit of despair.
