I really think it’s going to be Quinten Johnston. That’s my gut feeling.

Someone needs to take Chris to the train station! |
The Chiefs will take Hingle McCringleberry.

I could see Hooker being taken at pick 31 but not by the Chiefs. Maybe the Texans or Rams want him and the 5th year and they trade up. But I don't see the Chiefs going QB at 31 in any scenario.

I think KC will trade up a few spots to get one of Veach's Tier 1 players if one falls that he likes. If he stays I'm leaning Will McDonald, DE Iowa State. He wouldn't be a day one starter but come in on passing downs while they kick Omenihu inside. I think in a year or two McDonald can add a little weight and be the fast twitchy DE as a contrast to Karloftis.
|
I know we can't get him but watching Stroud to Smith Njigba is a fun watch. Njigba is so smooth.

This could EASILY be him explaining it away but his tape does show he could be telling the truth. If Hyatt is actually faster than his 40 I could be talked into that. https://atozsports.com/nashville/jal...early%20March. |

Hyatt had 8 drops over his entire career for a drop rate of ~5%. Zay Flowers 2022 drop rate was 11%. Hyatt had 0 career fumbles. Jalin has great hands from what I've read. |
R1 P31 OT Anton Harrison, Oklahoma

Again, same stance i've had on Hyatt for the last month now: It's not that i think Hyatt CAN'T do it. I just don't know for sure, because he never really had to. That's kind of the story of his collegiate career imo. A resume of kinda easy work. His heralded game against 'bama. To me, that was much more an illustration of shitty safety play than "Wow, look at this receiver". DB's getting caught flat footed while Hyatt has a full speed, free release right at them. Safeties being late to open their hips and turn. That's what I saw. Others watch and go, "WOW. Look at Hyatt!". I go, "Jeez, what are these Safeties doing here? That's bad." I don't hold it AGAINST Hyatt, but i have to take those plays with a grain of salt. I don't give him points for it either. |

I have clue but I'm looking forward to finding out what happens!

Guess I’ll call my shot. Mazi Smith at 31 and a deal for Hopkins.
|
With the 31st pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, the World Champion Kansas City Chiefs select Quentin Johnston, wide receiver from TCU.
|
They trade back into the 2nd and pick up an extra 3rd. 2 second round picks will be Josh Downs early and Tuli Tuipulotu late.

Trade up for a DE or RT. Thats the smart move. We have ton on the roster now they have been waiting to see do something. We need Moore to be a starter and Toney. Boths Rosses need a shot as well and we have Watson and MVS. We isn't a bigger need.

My honest prediction:
Chiefs trade up to pick 20 to jump the chargers. Chiefs select Jordan Addison And the crowd goes wild (except for the eric fisher guys) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Obviously WR would be the fun sexy pick. As an Iowa State fan obviously I’m interested in McDonald even though he’s probably more suited as a 3/4 OLB in the NFL. But we made Melvin Ingram work as a stand up pass rusher his brief stint here. Typically DL take three years to develop so maybe he just comes in on passing downs as he develops and bulks up… if they were to go that route. Broke Von Millers Big12 career sack record, but what’s impressive is McDonald played on a 3 man front and was always double/triple teamed. And like Tamba Hali here, always being held without getting a flag.

Just feels right to me. |
What’s amazing is that this chiefs team will be even that much better with a few starters and a couple superstars from this draft and a couple FA additions before training camp.

Ojulari is who I think
|
I don't think he posts here but a Chiefs fan from another forum posted this and I'm at a loss.
I was just ****ing around with the pff mock draft simulator and at 31 the following players were available to the Chiefs: Lukas Van Ness Dawand Jones Zay Flowers Jahmyr Gibbs I’m honestly not sure who the best pick there would be. Van Ness is the best player but Flowers and Gibbs I don't think I could resist taking one of them |

Been really struggling with this.. think its Mazi Smith (not who I want, who I think the Chiefs pick)
|
I'll cheat to get 2 guys and say a Clemson DL.
|
I take back my choice. I’m back to thinking they’ll trade up to make a bigger splash.
|
DT Mazi Smith
