New episode is up. This show is SO much better when it's the playoffs.
Nice little feature on Spags as well. |
tyreek standing around with his damn hands in his hand warmer right before the snap
LMAO of course sneed knocked him on his ass https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GEV99i6W...jpg&name=large |
Just watched the last Hard Knocks episode. Man, the Dolphins are just a candy ass franchise and Mike McDaniel is a ****ing goober. How grown ass men take him seriously is mystifying to me.
|
twisted showed up at 21:30

Alright. Reid saying "They run it we stick it, they throw it we pick it" was good. Normally those hype speeches don't do much for me, but that was was good.
|
The final scene.
Narrator asks ‘How do you feel about going on the road in the playoffs for the first time?’ Camera pans and zooms in on its’ subject who has a mysterious grin … the reaper. Lights fade to black. Oh mah gahd have mercy on those poor souls. |

I wasn't exactly thrilled when Spags got here, but dang, the guy's just been nothing but a great asset here in KC.

Every time I watch one of these, I am convinced Kelce isn't retiring.

Probably going to need some resource investment in getting some TE production to backfill his snaps off. Reid is likely unwilling to forego the flexibility a TE provides, so we'll need to get a somewhat reasonable facsimile of what Kelce can do. I think that's the best way he can extend his career. |
Quote:
I wonder how much Jody Fortson going down in training camp boofed their plans for Kelce this year. For the entire offense, really. |

Gray is a fine TE that is pretty good in-line, and is pretty good catching the ball. He's not a hugely dynamic weapon, but he's reliable and serviceable. But they haven't really used that to reduce Kelce's snaps a ton. Maybe it's because they can't run double tight sets, or whatever. I don't know. Kelce rules, and is really finding another gear in the playoffs, which is giving me goosebumps as I'm typing this. But I'm hopeful we can do real things to extend that dude's career because mother****er, he's awesome. |
New one dropped an hour ago, starting it up right now... LFG BACK TO BACK BABY
|
Honest to God I can't watch this shit even a few hours before bed time. I get way too amped thinking about the pinnacle this team has reached. We've come from the depths and we've watched it ALL. So many players who will be my favorites for the rest of my life.

Sneed, Reid, Jonesy... all bringing that dedication and fire
Our D will dominate this show, just watch |

I love getting the human perspective of the team with these episodes.
We're all so engrossed in the X's and O's, the Dynasty talk, Patrick Mahomes chasing the GOAT talk. But The Franchise always reminds me these guys are just young men who have lives and friends and family. Everything kinda comes back down to Earth in these episodes. Still can't believe this is free, this is Award Winning content. |
I dunno if other teams are doing this, and maybe it's because we're winning, but this is extraordinarily valuable content. I very much appreciate it.

Simply fabulous. Sneed, McDuffie and Reid are ****ing dawgs.
And Mahomes is an extension of Reid. The 49ers will not survive. |

That was worth the wait.

That had a different feel to it.
Less “happy to be here” and more “embrace the dynasty”. Great watch. |
That was amazing. Love how pat and Travis both were like let them have the football. We just going to **** thier shit up anyway.

The Chiefs should ask every potential FA to watch this. If they don't want to be part of that they're crazy.

Let's not forget now or ever that we are witnessing the golden age of Chiefs football. For many, you've waited 50 years. For most, we had to wait our whole lives to see it happen. Let's make sure we realize what we are seeing.
|
So awesome. One thing I found interesting was in OT, Mahomes didn’t seem to care which direction they chose and left it up to Toub, who kinda looked at both ends and then made the call. Wonder why he chose the direction he did?

The Broncos and Patriots demise is the nuts and cherry on top too. The perfect touch. |
I don't think I've ever seen a team that the O and D just constantly affirm each other and love on one another.
That team was SUPER tight knit. That is the culture that Reid brings to the team. We are so very fortunate. |
Quote:
Seems like on a lot of teams the offensive and defensive players barely even know each others names but this team has really seemed super tight for years. |

That last pass in regulation to Kelce in the end zone was actually a really good throw. Closer to being a walk-off there than I realized. Warner just made an insane play.
I love Justin Reid’s calm demeanor and speaking voice. I had actually noticed that after our AFCCG win against Cinci last year when he interviewed in the locker room iced out wearing all black and the shades. The final montage showing highlights of the series from the season really hit home for me. Seeing Mahomes and the other QBs run onto the practice field in training camp made me excited for another season. |

Oh, yeah, that was definitely mostly predetermined. I’m sure Pat was just letting the other guys know they’d need to get down immediately just in case they got a super favorable look elsewhere and he couldn’t pass up taking a shot to someone else.
But Kelce was always the best bet there. The chances of throwing an INT on a back shoulder in the corner of the end zone there has to be basically zero. It’s either incomplete and OT or a TD and we win right there. |
I’m just surprised it was such a good ball. Creed really did roll that snap to Mahomes.
A regular QB panics and throws that one out the back of the end zone. |
