Uh….ill take a home game, with. Ore cold weather vs a souther dome team with a rookie qb….but I think the chiefs can go to Buffalo and win.

Spags is already very aware of how to slow down Buffalo’s offense. But the flip side is that Buffalo seems to be a much stronger team in their home stadium, so maybe you want to avoid that scenario.

All Spags would need is the Jets and Carolina tape. Houston haven't reinvented the wheel fgs

You mean that Cleveland defense who were utter frauds on the road letting up big scores? 🤔

But that requires more wacky shit. I think the Texans have a better chance of beating the ravens than the Steelers

The Steelers actually own Lamar and beat them already this season. They know the Ravens better than anyone left in the playoffs.

just gotta get thru the bills which we should be able to do. theyve still yet to beat us when it matters

Steelers own Lamar and beat him this season. So why people think the Steelers can't win is funny to me.

Well, obviously. The only way Buffalo doesn't play KC next week is if Buffalo loses to Pittsburgh. They have little choice.

KC_Connection 01-14-2024 03:52 PM

You always want a home game in the NFL Playoffs.

Good point. But yeah I was reading before the games and that seemed to be the prevailing opinion.

IowaHawkeyeChief 01-14-2024 04:04 PM

Houston... Stroud's receivers aren't going to be high school wide open vs. our secondary. Steelers and Ravens may be a dog fight as division rivals.

No TJ Watt really doesn't help the Steelers in this game.

Coochie liquor 01-14-2024 04:31 PM

I want Buffalo. I want to go into their stadium, knock them outta the playoffs, and let them know who the king is! I’m not afraid of them, and every year we’ve gone to the SB we have beaten a team we lost to earlier in the season. This has zero to do with not wanting to play Houston. I just want Buffalo, I want to wipe away the Mahomes has never played a playoff game on the road. We can just as easily beat them there.

Plus I plan on going to the local Bills bar to watch this game, cuz I wanna see those tears firsthand.

Bump 01-14-2024 04:34 PM

It's hard to imagine the Steelers winning, but I don't know if I'd rather play Houston if they did. It doesn't really matter though.

philfree 01-14-2024 05:42 PM

Houston is essentially a dome team so I'd love to be playing them next week at Arrowhead in the cold with our fans going off on the rookie QB. I think the odds of that are slim though.

Edit:If it does happen of course then I want the Steelers at Arrowhead for the AFCC game. The whole Mahomes hasn't won a playoff game outside of Arrowhead narrative is lame. Someday it'll happen but I'd just as soon put that opportunity off as long as possible.

Houston hasn't played hardly any play off caliber teams. Caleb will be in shock at what Spags does them them on D.

Chris Meck 01-14-2024 05:54 PM

I'd like to play the Cowboys. Can we do that?

LOL

JimNasium 01-14-2024 06:25 PM

I’d prefer to be at home, but if we go to Buffalo we can exact revenge for them concussing Joe Montana. I like revenge served ice cold. Either way, I’m just thrilled to be in this position again.

Stryker 01-14-2024 06:42 PM

I would love to face the Texans at home but, I do not think the Steelers are going to win against the Bills. So we have to go to Buffalo and the Texans go to Baltimore.

Coochie liquor 01-14-2024 06:52 PM

One more reason i want the Bills… remember when I made this before the AFCCG?

Let’s go to Buffalololo and crush their souls, while the Texans go to Baltimore and beat them. Then we get the AFCCG at home!

RustShack 01-14-2024 07:32 PM

Obviously going to Buffalo and winning on the road would be fun, but I like the chances of beating Houston in Arrowhead more.

Go Pittsburgh

It would be awesome if we won in Buffalo.

Honestly, if we went to Buffalo and won, they may actually hire a competent coach who doesn't hate New York and America.

If we win in Buffalo, I think the only way the organization will recover is by cleaning house and starting over. New GM, new HC, new staff, etc.

Watt, yes. Pickett absolutely not.

Rudolph has the offense actually moving the ball and scoring 27 points per game. Ten more per game than with Pickett.

Nah. In the Marv years, we had 7 one-and-dones from '05-'15. Not making the playoffs is preferred to looking so good all year then choking on your own spit in the first round against everyone.

Watching Detroit finish off a playoff win for the first time in 3 decades takes me back to 2 years ago when the Bengals finally did it. I actually started to choke up when it happened, over one playoff game.

Whatever you need to say to make you feel better about a shitty season with your window closing faster that a Target in Minneapolis...LMAO

DJay23 01-14-2024 10:41 PM

Tough decision. I think we match up better/greater familiarity with Buffalo, but I would rather the Chiefs have a home game. Of course that means playing a hot offense.

On the other hand, Spags versus a rookie QB in Arrowhead is a mouth watering opportunity.

On a personal note, I know a lot of obnoxious Bills fans who deserve to lose to the Chiefs in the playoffs again. They need to be reminded that because my team beats their team when it matters, I am the superior person. I would however love to avoid the possibility that we would lose in Buffalo.

I'll be rooting for the Steelers tomorrow.

Lol stop. The Browns defense were frauds.

Home: 13.8 PPG allowed
Road: 29.6 PPG allowed

As much as I would love to make the Bills cry again, give me the Texans. I think the Chiefs can beat either one, though.

chiefforlife 01-15-2024 12:14 AM

The only team Id rather not play is Baltimore. Especially in Baltimore.

Is Watt supposed to be back after this week? If he is the Steelers would have a chance to beat them given their familiarity with the Ravens. If not then Houston has a punchers chance.

This is by far the best Defense we have had to play Buffalo with. That has always been the reason we struggle with Buffalo. If we have to go to Buffalo I see no reason to worry about that game. Im not guaranteeing a win or anything but this D tips things in our favor.
