Bit disappointed with the Mic'd up. Not that it wasn't great but it should have been much better. There were hardly any mic'd up moments from the final drives and instead it was mostly just game video with Mitch calling the plays. Last year's was far better, especially when showing the contrasting reactions to the Toney punt return.

Quote:
Purdy wasn't even mic'd. Kelce was so you know they have the conversation between him and Reid but nothing on the segment. Very little dialogue worth the time. Ultimately my only real takeaway is that Nick Bosa sounds stoned all the time. And stupid. That guy speaks when a couple neurons accidently bump into each other and some noise comes out. It's bizarre - guy has the cadence and vocabulary of a 7 year old kid. |
Oh, another takeaway - the 49ers were SO much tighter than KC in that 2nd half. It was insane.
The whole time, even when the 49ers had the lead, they looked streeeeessed. They always looked like they were losing. The Chiefs looked confident and poised the whole time. The 49ers looked terrified. Mahomes does weird shit to people, man. |

So did Bosa, but as I noted earlier - that's just how that dude sounds. He could've said "I made poopie" and I wouldn't have batted an eye. He's just a slow kid. |

I should add that it also irritates me how "they" discuss the fact that it occurred as he was "just running onto the field." How it happened is fairly inconsequential. It is virtually certain that it would have happened pretty quickly anyway if it hadn't happened running onto the field. They actually got lucky that it happened during a dead ball as opposed to during the middle of a play. |

Still not an excuse for losing and you could see Warner at least in better spirits as the game went on. Well, not at the very end, I guess. |

Worst ad-spammed You Tube video ever, and, with the same commercial every time. |

I wonder if he would have popped his Achilles if he calmed down the jumping up and down like a crazy man. Niners looked exhausted and pessimistic on all the clips after Chiefs first lead. |

I knew the injury to Greenlaw was huge, he's a great LB.
After watching to ItNFL, I didn't realize how completely demoralizing it was for the 9rs. Warner reacted like somebody shot his dog, Kittle said it was depressing, and it was. I've never seen a player go down like that, must've been hanging by a thread. |

Subscribe to ESPN+ It's worth the 10 bucks, I promise. Eventually I'll post all the postseason Turning Points for the Chiefs, though. But that'll be at least a week away. |

Sorry if this has been covered but do the teams not handshake with the loser anymore? Last year I don’t remember seeing Hurts handshake Mahomes and this year I certainly haven’t seen Purdy doing that.
Perhaps it’s just not in the footage but I find it curious. I remember Mahomes shaking Brady’s hand after the SB 55 blowout |
I love how casual Mahomes sounds about going back to back. It’s like he doesn’t even care and is only focused on the three peat. This was just a mere one ring to him.
That mentality is seriously intimidating |

The smack talk from Niner defensive players will not be forgotten by Mahomes & Kelce. Next time these 2 teams play each other, I hope the Chiefs drop 40+ on them like they did in the Niners stadium during the 2022 season.

Quote:
The losing players usually exit after the ending of the SB so the winners can celebrate. They don't have to leave the field, but I am sure players just want to get to the locker room for privacy. |
Quote:
I am paraphrasing, because I don't remember exactly, but they celebrated the FG, and he said something like, y'all really think that's going win it? He just knew. |
Not sure if anyone posted this above, but on the McCaffrey fumble, Kittle stops to say "hey George" in the middle of the play to Karlaftis and didn't realize the ball was loose. Kittle had the best chance to recover the ball for the Niners. It was right there for him lol.

Given how much audio they have recorded, whoever edits these mic'ed videos has so much editorial power to tell the story however they want.
You give 10 different editors the material and you might get 10 different storylines (with the Chiefs winning at the end of all of them). Tell one from the D's perspective, one from the O's perspective, for both teams. The possibilities are plentiful. Are we going to be treated to the Directors Cut, the Trainer's Cut, etc.? I'ld probably watch them all. |
Kittle is the absolute worst pregame hype man. Sounds more like a rookie teacher gettin' kids hype for a math test.

Kittle is over praised. He di nothing in the post season that should be remembered. Not to Kyle: If you best player on offense is a running back then your offense is lacking a QB.
