I didn’t appreciate KC until after I left. I moved in 99 and the downtown area was much different then and was mostly a ghost-town after 5:00 on Friday. It’s a much better city than I remember it growing up. Every time I go back home I’m always reminded how nice people from KC are. Sure I like the warmer weather of Florida and all the fun things that go along with living here, but KC is a pretty effing cool city.

When did I say he was JAG? I said there was nothing that memorable about him, which there isn't. He is nothing compared to the guys we have now. If he was on our current roster, he'd literally be the 4th guy on the depth chart. All I remember about him is he had no idea how to turn his head and defend a pass.

He's a solid corner, but not someone you'll remember like McDuffie and/or Sneed.

Tyreek lowkey wants to come back. He sees KC winning the most coveted trophy without him. But with that trade we got mcduffie, karlaftis, and rashee rice. I'm not sure we are the same defense without those 2. Maybe not far off but they are definitely impactful players.

He would not be ahead of McDuffie, Sneed or Josh Williams on this team. If you think he would, I don't really know what to tell you. He might be as good as Williams, he is nowhere close to Sneed and Trent.

Ward was a really good cover corner in KC. We got him for peanuts and he developed into a key contributor.

Yeah, Ward was really good. I didn't want to see him go, but Spags is a secondary GOD, so nobody gave a **** what I thought.

He was the one that killed everybody, but was an inch too short for those Jamar Chase 50/50 balls Burrow threw. I think when he was here nobody threw at him because Nelson or Fenton or somebody was on the other side, and it was a much easier target.

As far as answering my own challenge, I literally had forgotten that play until someone else mentioned it because it was an early season regular season contest several years ago. Not really something that will go down in Chiefs history by any stretch.

When Cowboys came to Arrowhead in 2021, Ward had such a good game covering CeeDee Lamb and others. That game ensured that an NFC team that considers the Cowboys to be a contender would give Ward a big second contract.

I guess I'm not sure why everyone is going to such great lengths to defend Ward after he trashed the organization in his Super Bowl presser. My comment was mostly just made as a shot at him for that. He said it's better over there, well we have better corners than him now and he's irrelevant to us. Basically all I was saying.

He talked about this on the podcast, basically said once the coverage rolled to him, he knew Hardman would be open and looked to the jumbotron to watch it play out.

I expected him to still be good but he's probably actually a little bit better even now. I expected him to regress from his final season here but that just wasn't really the case.

Ward was ranked in the top-5 last season. Top-10 the season before. And it's not just stats or some PFF alchemy. I watched Chav lock up and shut down DK Metcalf in two games two seasons ago. He's become a topflight CB.

DK has to hate him. He's been more physical than him at the line a lot, run routes for him and broke up a hand full of passes at the catch point.

We ended up with Sneed and McDuffie for 2 years and still have McDuffie. It turned out alright for us.
