I'm not Pete, but the home plate umpire was terrible. If Lugo got the calls the Yankees got, he cruises through this one. He got squeezed. That first strike to MJ was 8 inches out of the zone.

We will get them tomorrow.

That home plate umpire should be EMBARRASSED. Absolutely piss poor from start to finish.

1 extra base hit in the entire game which was from BWJ. Every other hit by both teams was a single.

That strike one in the 9th was a goddamn travesty.
But the real goddamn travesty is that 5 guys are batting near the Mendoza Line, and nothing appears to change that. Something is going to have to change. That stat line is not going to cut it, especially 2 of them currently OPS'ing below 70. So, the Royals need to nut up and either demote them to Omaha or outright DFA, and find someone else who can at least do better. |

Q could just chew ass on the players who aren't performing.

MJ is just not good.

The Renfroe injury really hurts. He'd been batting almost .300 with a 900 OPS for the last month. He'd really turned it around and filled one of those gaps. We just needed someone else to step up in the other corner spot and for Massey to get back in there, but I'm a fan of Loftin and he's been hitting well too. Hopefully Renfroe isn't out for a long time.

Renfroe fractured his left big toe. Damn

Y’all have some weird expectations. The Royals have been ass for most of the last decade. You think a good not even half a season is gonna get the stadium 90% filled with Royals fans vs the Yankees?
Get the Yankees here in late October and then let’s have a look. The fans will do their part. |

It's always been hard to hit in the majors, but it's on another level of tough right now. Triple-A doesn't even really prepare batters for what the majors brings. |
