Betting that Trump/Biden deciding to randomly do a debate in June ****ed them on that one.

You think Trump or Biden will draft Kevin McCullar?

Lakers pick Bronny

RunKC 06-27-2024 04:10 PM

Bronny to LA everyone knew it was coming

ChiefsFan88 06-27-2024 04:14 PM

McCullar is a Sun

Well ****in' duh.

Honestly, as annoying as it is, it would be pretty damn stupid not to. James is technically a pending FA as he has a player option. And as a cap team, if James opted out and signed elsewhere, it would DESTROY that organization. They literally couldn't replace him because they wouldn't have the cap space and they wouldn't have the bird rights that allow them to go over the cap that they have on James.

If drafting Bronny makes that even 10% less likely, it's a no-brainer. It's a simple and cheap insurance policy.

smithandrew051 06-27-2024 04:20 PM

Bronny must’ve been the highest rated player on their board. Crazy coincidence.

KC Hawks 06-27-2024 04:23 PM

It will be epic when the Chiefs draft Bronze Mahomes to backup his dad

The dozen picks before and after him won't amount to shit (or however many picks get made after 55). Nor will he.

There's literally no better use they can make of that pick than to sate James. None. It's silly but it's the reality of it.

Being pick 56 was worth sitting out the tourney. Glad he protected himself.

Oh I don’t blame them.

If you even get a rotational player out of the second round who sticks around the league for a bit, it’s a Homerun pick.

Keeping a legend happy is worth something. It’s memorable if nothing else.

The Lakers know how to maximize the value of glamour.

God almighty, the intolerable shite we'll be subjected to when those guys share a court.....ugh.

But the the Lakers will figure out how to monetize the **** out of it.

KC_Connection 06-27-2024 04:53 PM

Bronny is easily the worst NBA draft pick I've ever seen. He's so bad that I doubt there will ever be an age in LeBron's life where he isn't still better than him at basketball.

Shead will dominate for the Raptors. Next version of FVV.

Oof.

Forgot about that.

Yeah, gotta believe he's gonna regret that one.

It's absolutely hilarious watching people argue that nepotism is ok in this situation.

Woj talking about nepotism with owners, coaches, and front office job in sports.

Belichick having his son as an assistant coach isn't the same thing as having him as a LB on the final 53.

Red Dawg 06-27-2024 06:02 PM

Lakers are choking on sorry ass woke pile of shit James cock. Bronny is a shit player. He was shit in college and will be shit in the NBA.

Is it even good for Bronny? From one perspective, I guess you could say it is (he was almost certainly never making the NBA if he wasn’t the son of LeBron). But from another perspective, his basketball career is just gonna go down now as a brief bench sideshow in his father’s storied career before he inevitably ends up out of basketball as soon as LeBron retires.

Btw, get ready for LeBron to publicly push the Lakers to up Bronny’s PT at some point this year despite the fact it’s gonna be readily apparent he can’t play at this level.

No, I don't think any of this has been good for Bronny.

This is what he wanted though or more likely his dad. Rich Paul was telling every team if they draft him he is going to play in Australia.

This shit is embarrassing

Will Ken pom boy simp for Bronny too?

The worst NBA draft pick in history compared to the GOAT? I wonder.

No it isn't. The Lakers have no chance to win the West. None. Wasted pick. If I was a Laker fan I'd pray to get LeBron off the team so I could trade AD too and start over.

Jeanie Buss is a problem, too. Who would trust her to steer the franchise in the right direction?

ChiefsFanatic 06-28-2024 07:42 AM

Does anyone else feel sorry for Joel Embiid?

The 76ers front office is just clueless when it comes to identifying basketball ball players who fit their system, or who have NBA talent sometimes.

I don't know the details, but they ran off Butler, changed GMs I believe, and are still just waving their arms and splashing the water while they sink, hoping they miraculously learn how to swim before they hit the bottom of the ocean.

ESPN reports are coming out that Lebron James is sleeping with the mother of one of his teammates.
