That's not a routine play. The hitter has some speed, so Bobby has to move fast and because he had to get up so fast the grass became displaced and made him fall. I don't blame Bobby at all, because if he's not getting to that ball, getting up as fast as he can, and firing it to first then the runner is safe anyway.

If there’s any reason to get a reliable/dependable closer before the deadline, last night was the exact reason to do it. C’mon Allard……..
