U R not the only one? Guess they say I have 6 months. Fudge that. Never give up.
|
I'm sorry this happened. it's pretty survivable, you're a strong person, and you'll kick its butt. My wife had that diagnosis about 25 years ago and she is still kicking (my butt). Treatments have changed a lot in that time and are more effective and less invasive. There are lots of online groups out there, comparing experiences.

Dang it, luv
I hate to see it. Sending you and your family strength and good thoughts. Glad it sounds like the outlook is good. Early detection is so key. All my best. |

#1: Stay positive, that's the hardest part at times. Rely on your circle for strength and support, they will (should) bend over backwards for you. Sending good juju your way alsong with some old fashioned prayers. XOXO |

Prayers for full recovery!!!

Early detection is everything. While it's not great news to hear, that's fantastic that they caught it early. My dad went through that about 15 years ago. They caught it early and were able to treat it. He's still healthy and cancer free today.

My wife is a breast cancer survivor and watching her go through all the steps was enlightening. One thing that may or may not have been mentioned yet is find a woman's cancer support group. My wife did it reluctantly at first but in the end she is happy for having done it. The meetings were OK but when finished, several of the ladies got each others numbers and kept meeting once a month to compare notes. Extremely beneficial for all. Today, 5 years later, my wife still keeps in touch with a handful of them and is nearly best friends with one. They go for walks together followed by coffee at least once a week.
You will get through this |
My wife went through this two years ago. After surgery and radiation, she was cancer free 6 months later. Prayers for you to see the same result.
|
Saw an American Cancer Society commercial about yearly screening this morning, and it brought tears to my eyes. Guess I'll have moments like that until I get everything done. Got a consult with the surgeon on Tuesday. So ready to get this party started.

Prayers to you
Go kick cancer ass. |

Glad you caught it early. Best of luck with treatment and recovery!

Kaderius Toney would never catch the cancer. He would knock it up to someone else.
Here’s hoping for a safe and speedy recovery and a reminder that in the future be more like Toney. |
Damn hope you get through it ok. You’re around the same age as me, both born in 76. Way too young to be having this happen to you.
|
No one loves you more than CP, Luv!

Luv is a Springfieldian like me but I've never really interacted with her. Seeing her son grow per Chiefs Planet is cool and she seems awesome. You're Awesome Luv! My thoughts go out to you and your family. From everything I've read from you on CP I know you're a tuff cookie. God Bless and I know you can win this fight. XOXO
|
Very sorry to hear Luv. Wishing you all the best through this journey. :thumb:
I went through something similar (for a man) 7 years ago now with 45 radiation treatments and it seems to have been successful. I am confident you will be fine. |
Sending positive vibes your way. It's got no chance with the likes of you!
|
Good vibes. I have going constant MRIs for the last 5 years.
|
I am off the Tumor board every 2 weeks radar. Down to once a year.
|
Beat cancer's ass luv. Prayers sent.

Best of luck, you can beat this!

Surgery set for first thing on May 30. He said he knows that I'm anxious, but, with the type of cancer it is and it being stage 0, waiting a month will not cause any problems.
About three weeks after surgery, I get to start three weeks of radiation. I'll get mammos twice per year for three years, and, if nothing shows up during that time, I'll be back on the once annually schedule. The info they gave me was in a folder, and they included a pink ribbon pin. One of those moments where it just kinda hit me. I'm going to be a cancer survivor! |
Yes you will be....and reading some of these posts about you seems as if you are an extremely strong person, so you got this, try and enjoy the time leading up to the procedure..God speed...
