Y'know, we need a safety and a tight end worse, but we have to take Larry Fitzgerald.

(In best Tagliabue voice) With the seventh pick of the 2004 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns select WR Larry Fitzgerald of the University of Pittsburgh.

Rain Man 03-14-2004 01:27 PM

Okay, everyone turned us down on the trade. Against our better judgment, we're really going to make this place Soldier Field.

Trades involving players have to prove that there is cap room available for each team involved.

The Browns will offer Tim Couch and a 3rd to anybody in the next five picks for their 1st round pick, with the following rule: The trade will be made only after your pick comes up so we can see if our player is still there.

Thiesman: Chris i'm live in the detroit war room and the consensus of the scouts and coaches are that they can't believe how this draft has unfolded. An inside source told me there are at least five guys still on the board that the lions are interested in. they say they are gonna stay put and see who is there when they pick.
