WTF??

Even if we only had 3 (assuming you're talking about lifespan of the fans?), that's three more than you've won in 100 years, and yet you'd think you guys just won 4 straight WS's.

It's almost like... these guys are in their primes?!?!?!??!

Actually, this is precisely when people begin their decline years.

I find it interesting that Hootie was accusing us of being fair weather fans, but UP and Sea of Red didn't hop on here until the game was almost over...

Well they didn't make that trophy for the world series until 1967. Therefore you only have 3 of those trophies. You Cards fans need to study more baseball history. :D

Here's the funny thing about those [memories], you can't take them away and they're something your team has never accomplished.

Yep I am a fair weather fan because I didn't want to spend 4-5 innings arguing about Soriano's arm.

Someone please let Lance Berkman, Pat Burrell, Milton Bradley, Chase Utley, Alex Rodriguez, Jason Bay, Chipper Jones, and J.D. Drew know that they're supposed to start sucking any time now.

Aside from my posts before the game even started?

But sorry for not keeping up with the conversation quickly enough for your liking when there was nothing going on in the Gametracker.

Oh no, that makes the Cubs just like every other team I root for except for the one that plays in across the Atlantic Ocean.

JD Drew does suck.

A-Rod is having a down year, Jones can't stay off the DL, Berkman has slowed way down in the last two months and probably won't match his power numbers from last year despite a better lineup.

Utley, Bradley, and Burrell are all having career years. Funny how that tends to happen right before you decline.

C'mon, Peanut.

Look at Rabbi's sig... he is OBVIOUSLY Mr. Plow's multi account.

Go Cubs!!1

Ultra Peanut 08-08-2008 03:53 PM

70 wins into the season, Cubs have a +144 run differential. The Phillies are the next closest NL team at +72 -- HALF the Cubs mark.

That is reeruned.

Suffice to say, from the chart above, it's clear a player's prime runs about six or seven years, from ages 26 through 32.
