I'm so wrapped up in the Zombie files that I might have missed the boat. Many apologies.

I will lower my bullshit ranking from 100% to, oh..., 98%.

He's not going to keep a lock down at 1 Arrowhead and then make that type of tell.

Right, it's still no doubt bullshit. But at least it makes a little more sense why it is even worth mentioning.

Are you talking rep points? Yeah not surprisingly I got a ton. Can't check it on my wireless but the last time I was on the computer I had a lot of positive feedback from the majority here who think you guys are complete ass holes but don't want to mix it up with you like I'm willing too.

That was exactly what I was getting at.

I know we're likely to hear that kind of thing, being in need of a QB and all, but it sounds kind of funny hearing all this about Pioli and Cassel today...then to read a quote where he mentions the 23rd pick....maybe he's baiting DET or another team...maybe it was freudian....maybe it was complete horses**t...just thought I'd share the article.

I think so. Zombo's reign of terror is obviously supported by dark masters, Mr. 'Hamas' Jenkins. I fear for our sanity.

Given the Planet hierarchy in this area, the options would be somewhat slim; that's why I have reservations about this theory.

Crush 02-22-2009 12:13 AM

Well, I've had my fun with Zombo. He obviously has nothing better to do then play internet troll, but it is time to get off of this gravy train.

Pioli Zombie 02-22-2009 12:16 AM

Although I would enjoy it to see the #3 traded down just to hear the wailing and crying the hot topic in new england is a rumor of the chiefs trading their 2nd round pick (35) and first in 2010 for Cassel which would make heads explode too. If the chiefs did that who would you then pick with the #3?

This just in from KC Crow, a very reputable poster from across the hall.

Use as you will:

Quote:

I've done some research for ya'll...
I have considered all QBs taken in the first 32 picks since 1990 (For consistency).
Pro Bowl selections were used as the criteria for "success" (in alignment with the stated study and for consistency even though I may not agree with this method).

Here is the data through the 2008 draft:
Of those, 15 were underclassmen and 28 were seniors for a total of 43 QBs.
Of the 15 underclassmen, 5 have been selected to the ProBowl (33%).
Of the 28 seniors, 10 have been selected to the ProBowl (36%).
Of all QBs (43), 15 have been selected to the ProBowl (35%).

Conclusion... Being an underclassmen doesn't mean you will be more or less successful in the NFL than a senior!

Here is teh data through the 2006 draft (to eliminate the "time will tell" players)
Of those, 14 were underclassmen and 26 were seniors for a total of 40 QBs.
Of the 14 underclassmen, 5 have been selected to the ProBowl (36%).
Of the 26 seniors, 10 have been selected to the ProBowl (38%).
Of all QBs (40), 15 have been selected to the ProBowl (38%).

Conclusion... It still doesn't matter!

Here is the data set:

I trust Pioli enough not to make that terrible trade.

That's asinine. If the Chiefs did that...there would be nobody at #3 worth taking. Nobody. That scenario WILL NOT happen.

I think I see the problem here.

We aren't here telling everyone we know better than Pioli.
We are not in his position and don't have the access to players and film and all the resourses he has to work with.

We are here to offer our opinions on what we hope he does based on the limited information we have.

The problem is that you are to ****ing stupid to understand this.

Yeah and if he doesn't think a LB has #3 value he wont draft them #3. If he doesn't think drafting a LT or DT in the first round back to back years is good value he wont. If he doesn't think Crabtree is worth a #3 pick he wont draft him. God damn your a ****ing idiot. You never state your opinion, you just shut everyone elses down by saying "If Pioli this, If Pioli that." Your just shooting out common sense shit that everyone already knows. If you don't have your own opinion and you don't talk to Pioli then just shut the **** up.
