I hope my last post doesn't offend it's not meant to, and in a discussion like this, a person's beliefs, and opinions should be respected. So I guess we would disagree here, but I respect how you feel, and what you believe. I hope you would do the same for me.

So I'm awesome?

You're what every tranny is looking for.

Just breathing is enough provocation to get assaulted; why give a potential wackjob more reason to get violent?

And usually, the people actively searching for trans women are guys who are gay or at least bi but really hung up about it, so they want a girl with "something extra." Or something. They're weird.

Regular guys who actually make an effort to be understanding and not automatically run away screaming are pretty much awesome.

Ok. Stupid question time because I really don't know much about this.

But do most transgender folks wish to complete the process, so to speak? I would assume this would be the natural inclination, no?

Perhaps not.

If you don't want to respond, that's cool. I mean no harm.

The world's not as simple a place as a lot of people like to believe, but if you want to base something on your completely foreign opinion rather than first-hand experience and scientific evidence, feel free.

I think that depends on the person, some of them do and others of them don't.

Well it's good to know I have something to hang my hat on.

Basically, but with caveats. If it were a matter of snapping a finger or taking a pill and having everything be done, **** yes. But considering the cost, time, and potential complications if you have certain medical issues, it's not always a viable option, or at least not for a long time.

To me, it's something that would be nice but isn't going to define whether my life is a success or not. To other people (especially older transitioners, it seems), it's the be-all end-all. To others entirely, it's not something they even want.

Hmm...

I would think that if one felt a disconnect there would be the natural desire for a sense of...for lack of a better word...harmony between physical and psychological.

But one's sense of self can run deeper than this, thus perhaps obviating the need to make any biological changes, I suppose.

You learn something everyday. Forgive me if my opinion isn't swayed by this.

OH, and we have been talking about a much broader spectrum of people than just those who have "Gone all the way" right?

From what I understand, you are far from a complete transformation, so do you believe this disqualifies you from being the opposite sex than that of which you were born?

Well it's also something that is extremely expensive and considered a life threatening type of procedure so many things weigh in.

It was a double pun.
