I think a much bigger slap in the face to Chiefs fans would be the Missouri silhouette, seeing as how a large portion of the fan base is in Kansas.

I figured it would be option 2 all along

Option 2 no doubt. Back to the 60s.

Not correct. The article says that they are wearing uniforms from their inaugural seasons in 1960. The Chiefs won three AFL championships, so by your premise they could wear uniforms from 1966 or 1969.

Not possible. You have to be Crazy Coffey n00b nuts to pull that off....and sustaining it for eight months? Forget it.

don't pull me into your ghey circle jerk, I want no part of it.
why not mention Endelt, he supposedly was able to put up some high numbers in his time.

The state of Texas on the side of the Helmet.. yuck. But it's tradition, I myself like option number 2.

The only single reason the white on whites are ever discussed to be brought back, last year or this year, is because that was Lamar's favorite uniform. It's out of respect....

I mean really if the uniforms a team wears to honor the past offend people that much because it happened in another market your inferiority complex is overtaking your judgment.

Agreeing with mecca on this (see it is possible!!!) I wonder if Tennessee folks are pissed about wearing the houston oilers old uniforms, if not it's probably because no other team is currently called the oilers, and oil can be found in tennessee.
and what about the poor NE patriots, being called the boston patriots for a few games, shudder, and that old logo - I'd be pissed about that if I were a pats fan.... :shake:

get over it.

I havent looked through all these post but wouldnt the old helmet with the Indian Chief on it with the axe be a better logo?
