I've been doing some comparisons between Adolf Hitler and Al Capone.

Hitler was in power for 12 years. He ruled Germany, and later all of Europe, with an iron fist.

Capone was in charge of the Chicago mob for 7 years. He ruled the south side of Chicago, and later the Loop, with an iron first.

Hitler was response for over 20,000,000 deaths.

Capone was responsible for.... a few dozen deaths. But he always had an alibi.

Hitler tried to exterminate all the Jews in Europe.

Capone tried to exterminate Bugs Moran and half a dozen or so members of his gang.

Hitler conquered all of continental Europe and a good chunk of Russia.

Capone conquered.... the suburb of Cicero. Sort of.

Hitler was finally defeated by the combined armies of America, Russia, England and France.

Capone was defeated by... the IRS. And syphilis.

You know, I wouldn't have nearly as much trouble with this comparison if Capone had at least conquered Milwaukee.
