Shrugs. I dont know. Clearly, either Albert they dont think can stand up physically for another 4 years, or, clearly they dont like geno smith, and figure they can get a qb they like more in the second round that can sit for a while?

Thats the only reason in the world i could of seen them trading for alex smith. If last years draft class, was this year, there is no way they trade for alex smith, they take andrew luck and laugh.

oh, i completely agree. I dont like ANY of these qbs in this draft other than Glennon, and i only like him as a long term prospect, and a guy who is NOT in an andy reid type system. He needs to be in a norv turner, sean payton type offense.

This is equivalent to trading 1.1 for the 4th or 5th best QB in the draft. It's moronic and the only way it happens if we fall in love with one particular player at 1.1, which means we are probably over valuing him. The LT would have to be a first ballot HOFer before I would look back and say, that was a smart trade.
