I'm starting to see why Andy Reid and John Dorsey traded for Alex Smith as the safer bet. And it makes a lot of sense from a "leading the team" standpoint.

B/c everyone assumed Geno and Barkley would go early and a desperate team would trade up into the bottom of the 1st to draft him ahead of other QB needy teams at the top of the 2nd.

His mom just got back from a trip earlier in the week and didn't want to have her travel across country twice in a week.
