Tuned a bit from BMW already. For us mortals that is good enough and keeps the warranty working.

there are ways around the warranty thing - and that (honestly in my experience ) is somewhat a myth. It's never happened to me and the 335 had that Cobb work on it - hell I even had a small Cobb decal. Additionally - if he elected to go JB4 - the shop who handles the install will (generally) offer a removal+ reassembly for about an hour of labor - or BRC could learn how to do it and then go on and do it himself. It's not too hard to do.

I'd imagine the 335 will be gone after this weekend. Good chance I mean.

With that said Miles - Again I'm only speaking of my experiences - they (BMW) certainly have the right to void the warranty. But if you have a nice Service Center - they'll cut you a break - OR simply find a German car service center that ALSO offer tunes - they'll be cool about it - I'd bet cash money on that. They know how it b. It's ruff out here on the street. They ain't even know! Naw mean? Sorry I don't know where he came from just now.

You wind up buying a 335 + get it tuned - I'll guide you my friend - I have a ton of experience. You tune that thing - you'll be a force to be reckon w/ come any street challenger. 99% of the time - You'll own souls.

Not going to work on my car. No enjoyment there. I like using my toys, not repairing or enhancing them. I'll pay someone to do the repairing or enhancing.

Right now, it looks like I'm going to buy on Saturday. I have to leave town on Sunday for 2 /2 weeks. I've narrowed it down to the BMW 335 or the Challenger. I think both will be gone this weekend due to tax refund weekend.

8 cylinder does 0-60 in 5.1. The challengers are heavy cars.

definitely paint the grill, any body shop - should be $225 or less.

Simply Red 02-13-2015 12:59 AM

I think it's hot - If the sides aren't tinted, I'd do that - also just go legal limit - otherwise it's too much. Just do legal 32 tint -

What do you think Hemi-Ed? I trust your opinion. In 2015, is the Challenger the best of the retro muscle cars?

I do for several reasons BRC.

Room being first and foremost.

My old boss and best friend had three of the new Camaros (2 for children) and I had several opportunities to drive and ride in them.

My new Mustang experience is more limited, but if you were looking to go fast, I think they have the most bang for the buck in that department.

Since Obama gave Chrysler to Fiat, they have done some nice things with improving the interiors and styling across the board in my opinion.

They have pretty much stuck with the original Challenger styling cues and haven't deviated from it as much as the Camaro and Mustang.

They share the same production line with the 300C and Charger in Brampton. They are pretty much the same car until you start counting doors. I believe mine weighs a little over 4000, and that helps in the ride and room department.

I will say this though, it is a blast to drive on the Ozark/Tablerock lake roads! I have upgraded it to the SRT Bilstein suspension though, as an SRT owner was converting his to air bags. LMAO

Also thinking of going to the V8 model if the insurance agent can get the price down.
