The chiefs run defense is based on the fact that their offense is supposed to put up 30 plus every game. If you want to run it on them, have at it. They’ll eventually get a stop or two, make you punt or kick a fg then go score a td.

I’m so god damn tired of the expectation that you have to have the perfect squad from a personal standpoint.

The chiefs have the best qb, a hall of fame head coach and potentially best offensive mind in football history, a hall of fame tight end and a wr on a HOF track with all these other weapons on offense and a defense that’s league average with a couple elite level players on it.

31 other teams would trade places with the chiefs right now. They’ve coasted thru the weirdest and most abnormal nfl season in history.

And we’re worried about run block win rate like that’s really gonna matter?

Again, they have a top 3/4 roster in the nfl, the best qb and arguably the best HC. If they actually give a shit about a game, they’ll win.

Just enjoy it

I was a huge Mahomes fan pre-draft, and even then, I would wonder if he was gonna be like Matt Stafford (with a good coach), or Brett Favre level good. I always compared him to Rodgers but never imagined he’d actually be that great cause who the hell could’ve expected that.

Sometimes people need to remind themselves of these things. Nothing wrong with adjusting expectations but this deal has gone absolutely perfect in the grand scheme of things. If you can’t just appreciate what the Chiefs are now without fretting over the little blemishes here and there, Chiefs football isn’t even gonna be watchable to you in 20 years whenever the poor bastard who has to fill Mahomes’ shoes steps in.

Let’s have a injury free Sunday for both teams, and may the best team win.

What a shit ****ing take. We’ve been getting their “typical performance” for most of the year and we’re 11-1.

There’s a difference between winning consistently and being far better than everyone.

They’ve had a very small margin of error in several wins.

Not sure who isn’t enjoying it. Frankly, I like adversity and come from behind wins more than seeing them mow everybody down by 30. I expect another SB win this year, but that doesn’t mean they’re on a totally different level than the rest.

I do too. I'd usually chuck these types of games up as losses, but we've been so unpredictable this year.
We don't have the offense to keep up with you guys though so I do think we lose 37-26. Hopefully things don't get too crazy and Mahomes has 3 TD's by halftime.

I know you guys got great corners, No dispute. But if you play man to man, your corners going to keep up with Hill one on one?

Please point me out teams blowing all their opponents out this season.

Rich Eisen picking the Dolphins.

Why would anyone pick the Dolphins? How exactly do they have an advantage in this game? Defense? Maybe but we beat three defensive teams better than theirs already.

Apparently, the talking heads and some MIA fans are putting a lot of faith in their defense, since Flores was the DC in NE back in 2018, when the Pats beat the chiefs twice that season.

But iirc, the Chiefs scored 71 points on that defense in those two games, so I'm not sure what they're on about exactly.

Anyway, they seem to feel that their defense is good enough to not only keep Mahomes from playing well, but force him into multiple INTs.

In short, they're banking on multiple pick-6s to level the table.

Dolphins will have some depth issues at CB and RB tomorrow...

Dolphins didn't elevate a cornerback today, meaning they have only 4 available CBs against NFL's best quarterback tomorrow. Gotta a sneaky feeling that DRob is going to have himself a good day. At least 1 if not 2 TDs for Demarcus tomorrow.

That’s how I feel about Hardman. Just feels like he’s due for a good game.
