Not that I will quit watching but officiating like we saw today is enough to make one turn it off. I don't care if it was rigged or just incompetence, it was one of the overall worst officiated games I have ever seen.

It wasn't just one play either. It was all ****ing game.

There was maybe 1 or 2 legit DPI calls.

No call for hitting Mahomes in the face mask

No call for shoving Hill down 10 yards down field

Among the others we have talked about.....

Meanwhile if we even touched them, literally, it was a flag. We actually got flagged for a clean, legal tackle in bound and for them false starting.

The real issue is that the NFL is too ****ing cheap for full time refs and a ref union. So they trot out these garbage refs who ****ing bag grocceries mon-fri and ref on Sunday.

This part-time ref shit needs to end.

^^^This 100%

But the 'rigged' talk is just emotional people lashing out.

The Cards are beating Dallas 10-0...Cards pick Dak and it's flagged...you don't think shits rigged huh?

This game was cooked. Not every game was but this one for sure was like the SB.

Right now KC is disliked by most fans because we've won to much.

If this were true then the NFL wouldn't have let Tom and the Pats rape the league for nearly 20 years.

With each post you guys are arguing against your own previous posts in the same thread.

It's about close games.

What does a blowout do for TV ratings? Who continues to watch 35-14 outside of the 1 fanbase winning?

If you watch the NFL, take note on how many flags start flying when a game is getting to that tipping point.
Granted, good teams can still outperform Zebra help... and the Chiefs have done it a couple of times, but today was not that.

Don't get me wrong, the Chiefs have benefit from the zebras before too, as have all teams. Today was different. The NFL loved that Mahomes comeback story so much they helped it a bit.

In the end it doesn't really matter, there are still many games left until the SuperBowl... and I want this years team to earn it the hard way because they played like such shit at the start.

It literally just happened...

That is entirely about creating the NFLs Babe Ruth.

This is exactly how I felt after the Super Bowl last season. A feeling of apathy towards the whole operation.

What is the point of watching if the officials are just going to decide which team wins? I have no problem losing fair and square. But I feel like my time has been wasted and my intelligence insulted when I watch a complete farce like those two games.

IF the NFL really is a legitimate operation, then it would be in their best interests to clean up their ****ing officiating so people don't have reason to suspect the games are rigged. Because right now, that's the most logical conclusion anyone who just watched that railroading can come to.

Mecca 01-02-2022 04:41 PM

And Dallas TD...that call makes it 10-7 when it could have been 17-0...rigged.

NFL reminds me of any racing video games with a rubber band effect.

Basically, the better you play, the better “luck” the computer gets and the better the computer plays. It keeps the game close, so that it’s harder to win and more interesting.

I was complaining how the refs decided the game even before the refs literally decided the game...twice...on that 4th and goal from the 1 play. It was the ultimate **** you call. Bails them out after they dicked around for 3 plays to burn our timeouts and didn't score. And then lets them just kneel it and kick a chip shot. Never seen anything worse to be honest.

Like the old Maddens or sports games with comeback AI...if you crossed a certain amount ahead they'd become unstoppable.
