There's going to be plenty of opportunities to run that goofy crap. We're going to score a lot this year

Last time I saw Ronald Jones in the red zone, we stopped him on 4th and 1 in the Super Bowl.

I think they will at least lineup with 3 TE's, a fullback and Jones/Pacheco....then run some trick pass or shovel to Kelce.

I think Clyde and Rojo are going to be your primary ball carriers with Pacheco and Mckinnon mixed in. You'll probably see all of them in the RZ from time to time but I want to see Rojo get most of the carries. I could see him getting a lot of TDs this year that way

You're probably correct.

I'm glad they kept him, though a little surprised they kept 4 RBs.

Pacheco is our primary kick returner. He'll get spot touches and looks, but the other three will do the heavy lifting.

The run game has been terrible the last few weeks and it's hurting the offense. I know the line hasn't been great but Clyde and Jet just don't have the size to push the pile and get those hard yards. How many times are we gonna be inside the five and fail to punch it in? This is what Jones is good at and It's time to activate him now imo. Especially as he has a revenge game coming up.

They need to ditch that idea and let Hardman return kicks and punts.

It's a little weird to me that they've tried to make Pacheco into a kick returner. He's a downhill runner that is not shifty, doesn't have breakaway speed, and doesn't really break tackles. When you think of a prototypical kick returner, it's someone with an entirely different skill set.

surely ron can gain a yard on 7 carries

Yep. I remember watching him yesterday return the kick, before the one where he slipped and almost fumbled the ball, anyway, there was a hole and he chose to lower his head and make contact instead of sidestepping the tackler. No vision at all and is looking to initiate contact, and that's the last thing you want to do on a kickoff.

Not only make contact...he ran right into his own blocker. Our ST is so weird right now.

After how bad the Chiefs RB’s collectively played tonight… specifically running the football… isn’t it time to at least give Ronald Jones a look and activate him for a game?

Yes. Nothing to lose. Make CEH a healthy scratch next week.

Might as well. Give Niang a look also.
