Never Ever is Superbowl trophies old news.... Maybe that's why the Chiefs success is so bad, they don't respect the ultimate prize

I know the Chiefs have an edge in total wins vs the Raiders, I am talking about the whole franchise vs franchise vs the NFL

I can't hate on Denver much, I am glad they did not win or they would have 3 sb wins too but you can't win a SB unless you play in it... You know that right?

It takes character to face a rival after a loss like that.

I already had a good amount of respect for a few of our regular Denver fans, and this is just adding to it.

If the Chiefs had beat them I would agree but they owe the Chiefs,Raiders or Sparks anything... They OWNED the division this year.

You can't name a single positive achievement or accomplishment that your team has done since the AFC Championship Game in January 2003.

That's cool that you got to see your team play in the Super Bowl, but the kid IS old enough to understand that they might not win, right? It's possible that he would go to the Super Bowl and witness the team get asspounded.

All I'm saying is I wouldn't have posted it. And I'm usually pretty unfeeling about most things. I just have this rule when it comes to kids, you just don't exploit them when you're an adult, especially when you prolly had more than enough fodder from the adults.

That being said, watching my son pin two different kids (twin brothers) wearing this "shit" a few years ago was sweet. But I didn't take pics of the two of them when they were left crying. But I'll say this, when my son saw their singlets, he was a little bit more motivated than usual! :D

Your team sucks worse than the Browns and the Lions in the past 10 years. In fact, they're overwhelmingly the worst team in the NFL in that span. You have zero room to talk right now.

I'll be honest, until the day he hung it up with wrestling (and it was a hard choice for him), he was good, FAR better than average, and was a physical and mental machine. He'd laugh and joke some with the other wrestlers, but I've never seen him more "business" than when he wrestled and now with robotics and tennis. But alas, with his class schedule and robotics, both just weren't an option.

When I grow up, I really want to be more like him!

Manning and the Donkeys (any big name for that matter) is their ratings cash cow. If they succeed, ESPN succeeds. Although big stories can be found with both teams. The media and NFL just select a great player and/or team and will ride him until no more reason to. After the last 10 years if people don't realize that the media controls the world by now they never will.

Perhaps how you're a STH for the local symphony. A platinum member of the local performing arts center too I'll guess. [EDIT: I just realized you said "Olympic opening ceremony." I didn't watch that, and I don't even know who sang for it. But if it was an operatic singer, I'm still going to leave this here. Substitute "Renee Fleming" for what's-her-face and you get the same thing. Unless it was a fake operatic singer like some Broadway bitch. Or Susan Boyle. In which case I don't care.]

I'm going to assume you think Bruno Mars is better than Renee Fleming because you like either his voice or his music better.

That's personal preference. It doesn't mean he's better. At all.

"Better" to me means more capable of doing more types of music. As a classically trained singer, Fleming has likely twice the range that Bruno Mars does. She can sing in a variety of tempos and rhythm speeds. When she sings fast notes, she doesn't have to link them together through a single breath legato. She can actually PUNCTUATE each note by using just her diaphragm. She can put a spin on notes that Bruno Mars can't even dream of, but she can also do straight tone stuff if she wants to (although Bruno Mars isn't necessarily a straight-toned singer).

Finally, guess what Fleming did for the first time in years? She sang the national anthem LIVE. That's something everybody's girl Whitney Houston didn't even ****ing do. That's the kind of shit you can do when your decades of training supports your talent.

As for why I know more about music than you do, I'm a ****ing music scholar. That's my actual full-time job. That has nothing to do with why Renee Fleming is better than Bruno Mars, but since you brought it up, I thought I may as well mention it.

It's impossible to judge the aesthetic value of Bruno Mars against Renee Fleming. But if we were to have a singing competition to see who is BETTER and the BETTER musician, Renee Fleming wins it hands down. It's not even a close contest.
