I think that they overpaid Houston. Second week in a row that he's gone up against a young offensive tackle and has basically been shut out.

Mizzou_8541 10-11-2015 02:19 PM

Ok question: it appears the Bears' line (in my uneducated opinion) is almost as shitty in pass pro as the Chiefs' line. Why does Cutler look like a real QB and ours looks like, well, Alex?

Maybe their line is a lot better, I don't know.

Good. Now we don't have to listen to idiot homers talk about how we're a good team that just lost to top teams. Best thing to hope for now is a complet collapse so Reid and Smith have to go. If not, time to start looking for the next Eric Fisher

It seems like 90% of the team is Eric Fishers.

There is some truth in what you're saying. That was no doubt a BS call, BUT it should not have come to that. Once you give the refs the chance to **** you, they will. I blame the Chiefs for not putting the Bears away earlier. Had PLENTY of chances to win. Only SHIT TEAMS lose how KC has this season. There's a reason why they're 1-4. You ARE what your record says you are. The Chiefs certainly are.

kccrow 10-11-2015 02:26 PM

Alex Smith had something like 27 yards passing between halftime and the final drive. Let that soak in.

Bwana 10-11-2015 02:26 PM

I wish I could say I was pissed off over the loss but this mother ****ing team lost me after the Denver choke job. At this point I expect them to figure out how to snatch a loss from the jaws of victory and once again they didn't disappoint.

It came down to the Charles injury changing the momentum. Our defense just flat out gave up after playing quite well.

Andy Reid giving up on Alex Smith doesn't solve anything.

The fact that he and Dorsey believed in him from day 1, does nothing for me as a fan but question their judgement. This just simply boils down to this regime being poor evaluators of talent with respect to the QB position. The most important position on a football team they ****ed up on and so "we" should've given up on them from day 1.

are you really this ****ing stupid? lol Alex has 27 yards of passing in the 2nd half. the offense scored a whopping 10 points in the game. You cant pin this on charles getting hurt! Injuries happen. Your QB has to ****ing step up and make plays.

I tend to agree. There's a part of me that would think there'd be more to gain from losing-out than a couple of wins that will just **** us in the draft. But with out owner, he doesn't get it, so it won't happen.

Theres nothing to soak in. We were up multiple scores so we ran the ball to eat up clock.

The problem is this.

its 2nd and 8, a 1st down ends the game, and we run it... Then we pass on the obvious 3rd down. Its stupid. Why not shake it up? If you want to eat up that timeout so badly on 2nd down why dont you pass on 2nd down, something the defense isnt expecting at all, and then run it on 3rd IF you didnt convert on 2nd. MIX IT UP!!!!!!!

0-5 on 3rd down passing plays. Against the Bears.

No it came down to (as usual ) Andy not making any halftime adjustments, zero, none. On the other hand the teams we are playing always seem to be able to make the necessary adjustments.

Andy came out the second half taking advantage of the gassed Bears d line which is why we were running it so hard on them. I agree, he could not make any adjustments after Charles was eliminated from the game and Maclin was getting a lot of attention after their defense didn't have to worry about Charles.

I did, WE had 27 yard of passing for the ENTIRE half. 27!!! 0-5 on 3rd down! come on now dude. A 2 score lead in 2015 Is NOTHING. this is a passing league, teams score FAST> this isnt 1993 anymore.

Don't. After more than 45 years they know EXACTLY what they're buying into.

I played golf with the 11-year-old this AM, we got in 18, I shot am 81, he shot a 90, got home just minutes after the game started, and thanks to those people (or no thanks to those people) I got to watch the game. It's all good, it's really just a game. And the young man and I have two roasters on the spit doing rotisserie chicken. No traffic to deal with and this could lead to another patrol victory for cooking at a camp-out... THAT'S awesome...

It's irrelevant. It really doesn't matter much what either of those teams do as long as the Chiefs are stinking it up as badly as they are. This team is an embarrassment.

George's top 10 will be priceless today. He's likely punching his windshield and running old ladies into the ditch on the drive home.
