1,000 pennies maybe. These two once proud programs suck ballsack right now. Sadly for ESPN they'll have to drum it up (like the 06 Matchup) to put lipstick on the pig. Plus KcConnnect says it doesn't even matter anyway

I was going to go to the UK game, now I'm not. Just not as excited to pay $300 a ticket right now.

That Michigan game was pretty crushing. Damn Trey Burke and his 30 foot fluke shots.

There's really nothing wrong with recruiting 3-4 year types. We've had plenty of very good ones over the years (Chalmers, Sherron, Aldrich, TRob, Tyshawn, Withey, etc.) and they've aided us greatly. You just better make sure you get the right ones, though, and not the Ellis/Selden soft as Charmin types. Otherwise, you get stuck in situations like we're in now. It's clear that Perry could have a good, long pro career somewhere (not in the NBA clearly, but Europe perhaps), but he's never going to guard anybody.

The real problem is that they didn't recruit anybody that can outplay Ellis, which I think points back to Manninng leaving. Whenever we'd have attrition down low before we had someone that could step in. Everybody else can't contribute more than Ellis.

There's a reason that guys like Traylor, Diallo, Lucas, Alexander, etc. aren't producing like Embiid, Aldrich, Withey, Robinson, etc...and it has nothing to do with Danny Manning. They simply aren't as talented as those guys were.

Yeah, production from the bigs in the post has significantly decreased. And I think it definitely has to do with Manning leaving. That guy was an unbelievable commodity for Coach Self.

I'm going to disagree with that statement. Aldrich was not some Embiid type world beater. Neither was particularly explosive or even quick. Withey could get a quick jump in there, but it's not like he was skying to do it. Withey was 7'. Aldrich was 6'11". That doesn't have anything to do with Manning but the fact is Aldrich and Withey achieved their production with technique and position.

Ellis is probably on the same level athletically as Robinson, but he is 2" shorter. But he isn't nearly the offensive presence Robinson was and they are worlds apart defensively. Perry is a hell of an athlete and has some offensive skill, but he's not consistently scoring over double teams. Cliff is probably in the same athletic tier as Robinson and was only an inch shorter. He came to KU far stronger than Robinson did. Traylor is a physical freak. He's probably more athletic than Robinson but he is too short to play the 4 effectively. And he's stupid and unskilled despite being a 5th year senior.

At least everyone can relax a little bit. Our Super Bowl is on Saturday. Once that game is played, the season is over anyway. We can all start to focus on women's tennis or something.

We will be favored for our "super bowl". So that's kinda cool.

Kansas' Super Bowl was last night, and they lost.

LMAO That's some strong trolling right there.

Here's a telling stat: From 2007-13, Kansas was 45-13 on the road in Big 12 play. From 2014-present: 10-12

The Perry era is a soft, dark time.
