Sal has been down here since the beginning of January, minus a week's vacation in Disney World I think.

I am heading up to practice to see who's here on Saturday morning. Still trying to get Sal to sign a bat for me but he's hard to get close to these days up there.

Do me a favor and make sure Yost doesn't have Sal running back and forth between fields so that he can catch every inning of both split squad games.

I guess he screwed some forum members out of money in a betting scheme.

Believe the story was that he was in charge of a daily fantasy football scheme, but went full Hoortie on his co-investors, doing only what he wanted, setting lineups without input, changing lineups, etc.

It was a bad deal. Things went poorly. I think he blew through about 1/2 their stack in a few weeks.

But that's kind of the daily fantasy game... The "pros" have so much more advanced resources/systems available to them, all the average Joes can hope to do is get lucky and win sometimes and win big enough to make up for it.

It's one of the reasons I'll never do daily fantasy. It's the debbil.

All I can tell you is that it was more of how he responded to being confronted on the above actions, more so than even the above actions.

Everyone who was in that pool should be banned for giving him access to their account.

This

Like it was Hootie no body of sound mind would get in a gambling scheme with him and let him take the lead. Would they?
These folks need to come forward in a separate thread so we can scold them further. A good shaming could do some good.

The Royals are going to extend the netting to the end of the dugouts.

That's the world we live in alnorth, I'm guessing most ball parks will be doing similar netting.

I'm going to about 6 spring training games this year. I'll let you know which ones when it gets a bit closer.

Maybe they should place netting around the fountains to keep out the drunk girls

Why would we want to discourage drunk girls from jumping in fountains?

Gee, I wonder what Kevin Keitzman will be talking about today.

If I remember right he lost 75% of the initial investment in two weeks.
